The US-born radical Islamist cleric and suspected al-Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki has been killed in Yemen, the country's defence ministry has said. A statement said only that he died "along with some of his companions".

ASHLAND, Mass -- An Ashland man has been arrested in connection with a plot to attack the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol according to the U.S. Department of Justice. Prosecutors say the 26-year-old was a Northeastern University graduate. He was reportedly planning to use a large remote controlled aircraft packed with C-4 explosives to do serious damage to the U.S. Capitol. The charges also include providing help to Al-Qaeda. SIALKOT: A woman who was abducted and gang raped for the second time by four armed accused two months ago is now pregnant. According to police officials, the accused had abducted the victim as punishment for her getting an annulment through a local court in Gopipur-Satrah, Daska.
