Former President Donald Trump lifts the lid on his love, hate, hate, hate relationship with the Bush family in his new book of letters, which includes thank-you notes from a president, a first lady and a president-to-be, alongside his own scathing commentary of where they went wrong. In so doing it charts the shift from a time when establishment Republicans would thank Trump for his donations, before the power in the party moved to outsiders and upstarts. 'Letters to Trump,' was published by Winning Team Publishing on Tuesday. The $99 book includes letters from President Richard Nixon, actor Alec Baldwin,...

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — California officials are pressing for more vaccine and acting with “utmost urgency” to slow the spread of the monkeypox virus, but they have not decided whether to declare a statewide emergency as the city of San Francisco announced on Thursday, the state’s public health officer said Friday. Members of the LGBTQ community have been furious with slow response from government at all levels, and say the world should have been better prepared in manufacturing and stockpiling vaccine. They’ve expressed frustration over the inability to get the vaccine and fears they’re being abandoned yet again in a...

Almost before the ink is dry on Trump's signature on the $2 trillion stimulus bill, Democrats are agitating for another one. Indeed, another infusion of cash in the economy and more checks to Americans may become necessary. But Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans want to wait and see some of the effects of the first stimulus bill before entertaining another. McConnell, meanwhile, reiterated what he's been telling Pelosi for months: no unrelated items in the stimulus bill. And the White House is on board with McConnell's "wait-and-see" attitude regarding the last stim bill.

Impeachment is on the brain, and it would seem to the exclusion of everything else. But we had better make room for the Iraqi people. At the start of the month, Chaldean archbishop Bashar Warda of Erbil visited New York and spoke at the United Nations Security Council about the situation in his native Iraq. Warda has been housing and caring for people, primarily Christians, who fled ISIS in Mosul in 2014. He's been working to secure some semblance of a future for them, including by establishing a Catholic university in his native country. In his speech on Dec. 3,...

She keeps interrupting her guests-won't let them finish their thoughts. A wanna-be Megan Kelly who will turn on a dime when the opportunity comes. I see it happening but she doesn't have the talent. Her days are numbered at Fox if they're smart. BTW-she's the blonde in between Special Report and Tucker. In case you don't know.

After listening to the disheartened Charlottesville, Virginian, Police Chief press conference a few minutes ago...now I know why Democrat, Governor, Terry McAuliffe looked like he had been sentenced to the electric chair on Saturday afternoon. IMHO, this cute little gig, set-up and planned by Democrat, McAuliffe and his buddy Mayor and assistant Mayor in Charlottesville did not go off as planned, because the police were setup to fail with the orders issued by the Governor and his two Mayors. Results, three people murdered, multiple people injured while extreme Right wing & Left wing nutcases tried to kill each other, uncontrolled...

The Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) announced Wednesday it is reviewing whether to downgrade ties with Israel and halt security cooperation in light of the moribund peace process "This is the current Palestinian move as the Israeli government stalled the peace process and completely locked the political horizon," PLO executive committee member Wasel Abu Yousuf said of security arrangements with Israel. "A change in the status quo is a must," said Abu Yousuf, stressing that walking away from unfair prior agreements with Israel remained a key option for the PLO. "The Paris Economic Agreements will also be re-reviewed and amended should...

WASHINGTON (BP)--Affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure continue to give money to Planned Parenthood, the country's leading abortion provider, and those grants have prompted Roman Catholic bishops in Ohio to order their dioceses' institutions to no longer raise funds for one of the leading foundations in the battle against breast cancer. Eighteen of the more than 120 Komen affiliates in the United States contributed about $569,000 to Planned Parenthood affiliates in the United States during 2009-10, according to a report released Aug. 24 by American Life League (ALL), a Virginia-based, pro-life organization. The Congressional Pig Book is CAGW's annual compilation of the pork-barrel projects in the federal budget. The 2010 Pig Book identified 9,129 projects at a cost of $16.5 billion in the 12 Appropriations Acts for fiscal 2010. A "pork" project is a line-item in an appropriations bill that designates tax dollars for a specific purpose in circumvention of established budgetary procedures. To qualify as pork, a project must meet one of seven criteria that were developed in 1991 by CAGW and the Congressional Porkbusters Coalition. The 2010 Congressional Pig Book Summary gives a snapshot of each appropriations bill and details...
