One of the top relief pitchers in Major League Baseball history, Jeff Reardon, has been arrested for robbing a Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, jewelry store. Police say the four-time All Star walked into the jewelry store Monday and handed an employee a note saying he had a gun and that the store was being robbed. Reardon fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash, but police found him at a nearby restaurant. They recovered the stolen money and charged him with armed robbery.
