DECATUR, Ga. - A member of the New Black Panther Party who went on national television to offer a reward for the capture of George Zimmerman was arrested in Gwinnett County. According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, Hashim Nzinga, 49 of Norcross, was arrested at probation office he was reporting to in Lawrenceville. He taken to Dekalb County Jail and charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. A warrant was sworn out in DeKalb County after evidence surfaced that Nzinga tried to pawn a semi-automatic handgun at a Stone Mountain pawn shop.

The DeKalb Sheriff's Office Fugitive Squad Members arrested the New Black Panther Party's Chief of Staff, Hashim Nzinga, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Nzinga, 49, recently announced that the New Black Panther Party is placing a $10,000 reward for the capture of George Zimmerman, the shooter of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said Nzinga was in possession of an FN Herstal 5.7x28 handgun. An investigation revealed that he pawned the gun at a Stone Mountain Pawn Shop on Rockbridge Road. Hashim Nzinga appeared on Hannity & Colmes tonight to defend Cynthia McKinney slugging a Capitol Hill police officer. He also defended McKinney’s father who has publicly spoken out again Jews. Nzinga can relate because he too hates Jews, in fact he blames them for 9/11 and says they knew about it beforehand. However, tonight, Nzinga threatened Sean Hannity if he ever ran for Congress. Nzinga said he would come up to New York because the two need to be “one on one”. He wouldn’t go any further on air.
