The DeKalb Sheriff's Office Fugitive Squad Members arrested the New Black Panther Party's Chief of Staff, Hashim Nzinga, for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Nzinga, 49, recently announced that the New Black Panther Party is placing a $10,000 reward for the capture of George Zimmerman, the shooter of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin.
The DeKalb County Sheriff's Office said Nzinga was in possession of an FN Herstal 5.7x28 handgun. An investigation revealed that he pawned the gun at a Stone Mountain Pawn Shop on Rockbridge Road. According to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office, Nzinga's convictions of felony deposit account fraud in Gwinnett County in February 2012 made this transaction illegal.
Nzinga was arrested at his probation office on West Oak Street in Lawrenceville on Monday. He was booked into the DeKalb County Jail. Bond information for Nzinga was not available.
Al or Jesse will be right there...
That’s a pricey little pistol he had. Now quick, someone notify the Federal prosecutor and give this clown the Project Exile treatment.
Even the Black Panthers came out and disavowed the New Black Panthers. You know you’re bad when.
“Chief of Staff”? How did this felon ever get past HR?
The ATF gave it to him......
From Class War to Race War. All part of Barry the ***hole’s “Hope and Change” agenda. Right on schedule and going right according to plan.
Wonder what kind of rounds he had in that pistol?
It’s got a reputation, right or wrong, as being able to penetrate a IIIA vest, although I think it needs the AP round to do so.
DITTO!
obamas army getting ready for the elections.
What a DUNCE!!!
Hmmm, is this the norm?
The thought that might be the case makes me smile and gives me hope that there may be some justice in this world and that the guy upstairs has a keen sense of humor.
I believe you are correct.
AFAIK, it will penetrate (the AP round) any fabric-based vest.
I must assume that means a trauma plate of ceramic or metal would defeat it, in conjunction with a fabric base.
Fabric being woven kevlar or aramid.
I am not an expert, nor do I claim to be, but in a past life, this round came to my attention several times, labeled as a "cop killer" bullet.
It was not designed as such, but it fills the bill.
Now the question begs...just why would a member of the New Black Panther Party need a weapon that is capable of firing a "cop killer" round?
Wasn’t that weird cartridge developed to pierce some types of body armor?
One of Holder's people needs such, I would guess, for his work as a Justice consultant.

Takes a while to see the magistrate/judge?
But it’s illegal for him to have a gun!
That should have been enough to stop hm from getting a gun.
Right?
In the Stand Your Ground states- tweet the address of each Barrack Panther member.
So we can be safe.
It was developed for use by clerks and jerks in the military, rear echelon types who don’t need a full power rifle. It is capable, with the restricted mil spec ammo, of defeating body armor at close range.
Isn’t it illegal for a civilian organization to put a bounty on anyone’s head?
Good taste in weapons. Is Eric Holder selling these now?
Ah the Herstal weapons of choice for domestic Ft. Hood terrorist...very bad guns....
Were you out of town in 2008?
Atlanta classified ad: “Wanted: Person of color to put up “Wanted” posters throughout Georgia. Pay commensurate with arrest record. Posters offer $10,000 reward for the “capture” of any white (or Hispanic) person with the last name of Zimmerman. Race not important. Culpability not important. Heck, nothing is important except how many posters you can put up in an hour. Previous employee on all expense paid vacation at Graybar Hotel, but holding the job open for him when he gets out. You must provide your own staple gun.”
We can only hope.
He had Cop Killer bullets!
Out of town? No, couldn't afford it. Out of my mind is more like it.
“...very bad guns....”
Not really. It took multiple hits with that dinky bullet to kill most of the fine soldiers who were shot by major mudslime at Ft. Hood. Except for head shots of course.
The FN 5.7 pistol holds a lot of rounds and has negligible recoil for fast followup shots but there is nothing magic about it.
It will not penetrate bullet-resistant vests with the ammo that is available to non-military/police users.
Looking at those pictures I’d have to believe that its a racist jail /s

Fugitive squad ???
Did he have a warrant with his name on it?
I never thought I would see the day when gun control was openly advocated on FR, a supposedly "pro gun" forum.
There are no "very bad guns" pal. Only "very bad people".
If there was justice, you'd have to retract that comment or get zotted.

Again, I am not an expert (I have stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, in the past), but AFAIK, it will penetrate a fabric-based vest up to 200 feet out.
Nasty little round, extreme high velocity.
Makes me wonder just what the chamber pressures are on the thing?
Assuming a 5.56 in the original Stoner design was around 28,000, (I think...remember now, I'm an old man, now), this little zinger is pushing the limits of a pistol based necked down cartridge.
It is NATO approved though, if memory serves.
Not arguing with you, just exercising my tired old memory.
This thing was developed in/about 2001 or so, so I'm sure the metal quality then versus metal quality of Stoner-designed 5.56 back in the late '50's is much different.
Still remarkable, for a pistol round.
Food for thought, now and I think I'll see what the ol' Wiki has to say about it, if PC allows an entry for it.
I don’t think there should be any restrictions even for scumbags. Chances are that many of our crime problems would correct themselves.
ABC News / Good Morning America identified a minor witness to a deadly shooting do you think they might receive some intimidation now?
Quote:
In addition, an eyewitness, 13-year-old Austin Brown, told police he saw a man fitting Zimmerman’s description lying on the grass moaning and crying for help just seconds before he heard the gunshot that killed Martin.
Stupid question but is the New Black Panther party just a Muslim front group? Every member seems to be a Muslim.
THis is the weapon the Ft. Hood shooter used.
Offense date on 3/5 and he was just now arrested? It is a good thing pawn shops give the names on pawn tickets to the Sheriff’s Dept every day. Who knows what might happen otherwise... /s

If you click the link to Gwinnett County mugshots, you will notice more are smiling. They are thankful they aren't locked up in DeKalb or Fulton. I have heard Gwinnett is Hotel Hilton compared to the others.
