Tighe Barry, left, and Medea Benjamin of Code Pink protest in Washington, D.C. On the heels of a Big Government article asking whether the Muslim Brotherhood and other anti-Mubarak organizations in Egypt have been learning their tactics from Obama allies Bill Ayers and Code Pink (as a result of connections made in Egypt one year ago) comes news that Code Pink is in Cairo and is involved in the protests. An audio file of a phone call by leftist activist David Swanson that day to Code Pink agitator Tighe Barry in Cairo was posted late Friday. Barry, in Egypt...

Back-channel diplomacy is neither new nor illegal. snip Erik Prince, who is close to several members of the Trump administration, set up the back channel with a Russian tied to the Kremlin, the report alleges. Prince reportedly met in Seychelles with the Putin-tied official and a UAE lobbyist to discuss future U.S.-Russia relations. Notably, Prince has never taken a position in the administration. The back-channel allegations are far removed from the original “collusion” allegations put forward by much of the legacy media. Even if it turns out to be true, there does not appear to be anything illegal or unprecedented...

VIDEO: Failed candidate with legions of shady associates attacks historic president for associating with shady people FLASHBACK: The Time Hillary Clinton Implied Barack Obama May Have Ties to Hamas BY: Andrew Stiles June 1, 2015 Bill and Hillary Clinton have a long list of shady associates: Frank Giustra, Denis O’Brien, Sidney Blumenthal, Norman Hsu, Hassan Nemazee, Jon Corzine, Jeffrey Epstein, Ron Burkle, Marc Rich, Webb Hubbell, Sant Chatwal, Sheldon Silver, Anthony Weiner, Eliot Spitzer, David Brock, and the Qatari government, to name a few. These days, the Clintons don’t think shady associations should have any bearing on a candidates qualifications...

As State Department spokesman Jen Psaki appeared to be going out of her way to avoid implicating Hamas in an act of terrorism, she was coincidentally dressed in a shade of green reminiscent of Hamas’ color. When asked by AP reporter Matt Lee about reports that the terrorist leanings of a 14 year-old Palestinian-American boy named Orwa Hammad, Psaki pleaded ignorance. Hammad was reportedly hurling molotov cocktails before being killed by Israeli Defense Forces (IDF); Psaki played dumb.

U.S.-Israeli relations sink to new low. President Barack Obama and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had a “particularly combative” phone call Wednesday over efforts to secure a lasting peace in Gaza, a sign that relations between the two countries have fallen to a new low, according to a Wall Street Journal report from Jerusalem. White House officials are said to think Netanyahu and his national-security team are both reckless and untrustworthy. The U.S. administration was caught off guard when it learned the Israeli military had been quietly securing tank rounds from the Pentagon during the Gaza conflict.

Today's New York Times op-ed page includes a wide-ranging interview on foreign policy that Thomas Friedman conducted with President Obama. Let's break down some of the low-lights. Excerpts from interview in italics, with my comments following. And sure, when President Obama said "I don't worry about Israel's survival," he explained his insouciance in terms of Israel's military might. But was he telling a deeper truth? Obama made clear that he is only going to involve America more deeply in places like the Middle East to the extent that the different communities there agree to an inclusive politics of no victor/no...

<p>John Kerry is upset by heavy criticism from Israelis — left, right and center — of his recent ceasefire diplomacy. But that’s only half the story. More significant is the consternation of America’s Arab partners, starting with the president of the Palestinian Authority. Mahmoud Abbas was stunned that Kerry would fly off to Paris to negotiate with Hamas allies Qatar and Turkey in talks that excluded the PA and Egypt.</p>

Obama and the U.N.’s Alternate UniversePosted By Bruce Thornton On August 1, 2014 @ 12:55 am In Daily Mailer,FrontPage | 3 Comments Barack Obama has managed to push American foreign policy into an alternate universe in which everything the human race has learned over the past 2500 years about human nature, aggression, and its deterrence has been stood on its head. He is not solely to blame for this. For 150 years the West had indulged the illusion that human nature is progressing away from our violent past toward a world of reason in which conflict can be resolved and negotiated...

The US has said the shelling of a UN shelter in Gaza is "totally unacceptable and totally indefensible". In its strongest criticism yet of Israel's offensive in the Palestinian territory, the US - Israel's closest ally - also said the civilian casualties were "too high". It urged Israel to do more to protect civilian life. Israel says its offensive in Gaza is designed to defend its population from attacks by Palestinian militants. The UN has also criticised Israel over the worsening situation in Gaza, saying people there are "facing a precipice".

Remember: nothing riles the White House more than the appearance that Israel is supplying ammo to Obama’s political enemies, as it did on Sunday. Barack Obama may have stopped short of reading the riot act to Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday, but the White House version of the two leaders’ phone conversation left no room for doubt: The U.S. President was ratcheting up the rhetoric and the pressure on Israel to end the fighting in Gaza, and to end it now.

U.S. President Barack Obama spoke with Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday evening, and stressed the need for an immediate and sustainable ceasefire in Gaza. “The President underscored the United States’ strong condemnation of Hamas’ rocket and tunnel attacks against Israel and reaffirmed Israel’s right to defend itself,” said a statement from the White House. “The President also reiterated the United States’ serious and growing concern about the rising number of Palestinian civilian deaths and the loss of Israeli lives, as well as the worsening humanitarian situation in Gaza,” it added. According to the statement, Obama “made clear the strategic...

The US State Department on Tuesday commented on the murder of three Israeli teens, on the same day the funeral for the three was held in the attendance of hundreds and thousands of Israelis. State Department spokesperson Marie Harf struck a cautious tone over who was to blame for the kidnapping, asserting that "the investigation of the abduction and murder indicates the involvement of Hamas in the affair, but at this stage we have not determined that Hamas is responsible." The statement was reported by Yedioth Aharonoth's Washington correspondent Yitzhak Ben-Horin. Harf's ambivalent comment comes despite the IDF's announcement last...

With unusual candor, the Washington Post declares in its top headline that “Hamas’ tactics garner support” and that “Palestinians see path to victory through fighting.” This strengthening of Hamas is the entirely predictable consequence of the cease fire that the Obama administration worked to impose on Israel. Because Hamas waged war against Israel and the Israelis backed down, it is (to quote) the Post “the commonly held view in both territories (the West Bank and Gaza) that the Islamist militants of Hamas — who refuse to recognize Israel — defeated their enemy, and that they did it with weapons, not...

The angle here is that one of the criticisms of Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man behind the Islamic center, is that he refused to call Hamas a terrorist organiztion. And here's Hamas standing up for the Imam's mosque, in firm agreement with Obama. Hamas, Rauf, and Obama all agree: Build the mosque! In reality, of course, Obama did not "endorse" the Islamic center. Rauf is widely seen as a moderate, and he has condemned terrorism. And here's what Rauf actually said about Hamas: "I'm not a politician. I try to avoid the issues. The issue of terrorism is a...

Two Israeli soldiers were killed in a gun battle with Gaza militants in some of the fiercest fighting in the territory since Israel's military offensive there more than a year ago. The deaths were the first for the Israeli military in Gaza since January 2009. Four militants died in the clashes and in another exchange of fire nearby. Gaza's Islamic Hamas rulers announced that their gunmen were involved — marking a shift from the group's tendency over the past year to avoid confrontation with Israeli forces. The outbreak of violence in Gaza, which subsided by early evening, highlighted the region's...

JERUSALEM – A radical Muslim group that was an unindicted co-conspirator in a scheme to raise money for Hamas has an extensive relationship with the Obama administration, WND has learned. Last week, President Obama's top adviser on counter-terrorism, John Brennan, came under fire for controversial remarks he made in a speech to Muslim law students at New York University. The event was sponsored by the Islamic Society of North America, or ISNA. ISNA is known for its enforcement of Saudi-style Islam in mosques throughout the U.S. It was named by the Justice Department as an unindicted co-conspirator in its case...

“We don’t mind–actually we like Mr. Obama. We hope he will (win) the election and I do believe he is like John Kennedy, great man with great principle, and he has a vision to change America to make it in a position to lead the world community but not with domination and arrogance,†Yousef said in response to a question about the group’s willingness to meet with either of the Democratic presidential candidates.
