Everyone should have been prepared for this last minute OCTOBER SURPRISE. That I why they call it an October surprise because they spring it days before election day so there is no time for recovery. It won't be the last. I guess Hillary and her nasty husband can do and say whatever they want with impunity and we just bow down and kiss QUEENIE'S FEET. Screw her. Trump GETS MY VOTE. And I am a female.

Democrats are crying foul over GOP suggestions that President Obama has a “secret deal” on missile defense with Russia. The fight began in March, when a hot mic at a summit caught Obama telling then-Russian President Dmitry Medvedev that he’d have more “flexibility” on the issue after the election. Medvedev famously responded that he would transmit that information to Vladimir Putin, who is now Russia's president. Republicans immediately attacked Obama for making a secret deal, and they used this week’s floor debate on the Defense authorization bill to highlight their argument. No one in Congress has been more vocal about...

Turns out he’s not Kenyan after all. He’s KGB. All this time, people were worried that President Obama was born in Africa and that his radical agenda had been crafted by the Rev. Jeremiah Wright and Saul Alinsky on the streets of Chicago’s South Side. Now we know his real radical hidden agenda is in service of the Kremlin.

President Obama gave a hot mic supplication to departing Russian president Dmitry Medvedev that Putin should give him more “space” and “flexibility” on such national security issues as Anti-Ballistic Missile defense. According to Obama, this will be his “last election,” after all. Of course, any mention of this eye-popping exchange outside the credentialed press will be spun by Pravda West as mere blog fodder for de-contextualized right-wing hysterics. Well, comrades, let’s at least make sure our hysterics are properly contextualized, shall we? The exposed convo between the two outgoing presidents runs as follows and was originally reported by Jake Tapper...

For a man so in love with the technology of image, the camera, the microphone and the teleprompter, the leader of the increasingly less free world has a natural tendency to put a little too much faith in it. This is the second time that an open microphone has let Obama down, the first time it recorded him stabbing an ally in the back, the second time it recorded him stabbing a few dozen more in the back. Medvedev, whose bosom buddy just managed to cling to power with a stolen election and brutal suppression of protests, surely understands how...

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) ripped President Obama as "a real 'Etch a Sketch' leader" for suggesting he could switch his policy on missile defense after the election. In the midst of an often tense discussion between the United States and Russia over plans for a U.S.-led NATO European missile defense system, Obama was heard asking Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for more time on the subject and promising he will have “more flexibility” following the election in November. The comments came across a live mic the two leaders did not appear to realize was on. "Pres Obama tells Medvedev he'll be...

If it is true, as Michelle Obama said in February, that her husband isn't smoking anymore, maybe he'd better start mellowing out with the cigs again before it costs him the presidency. The Barack Obama we've been seeing lately is a different personality than the one that made a miracle run to the White House in 2008. Obama.2008 was engaging, patient, open, optimistic and a self-identified conciliator. Obama.2011 has been something else—testy, petulant, impatient, arrogant and increasingly a divider. Never forget: That historic 2008 victory came with 52.9% of the total vote and 52% of independent voters. David Axelrod recently...

“Bridge builder” Imam Feisal Abdel Rauf, the Muslim cleric behind plans for the Ground Zero mosque, has now been exposed as a man of shrewd cunning and as a calculating stealth jihadist who supports the creation of an Islamic State, “The Ummah,” right here in America. An interview has surfaced in which, after being assured that it has ended, Imam Rauf speaks “off-the-record” and reveals some intriguing plans and views that he has regarding America and the world. The audio of Phillips' conversation could be heard overriding President Bush's remarks approximately ten minutes into the President's speech. While the President could be heard during the exchange, Phillips' gaffe was very distracting: "Your mic is on. Turn it off. It’s been on the air."(video)

A Labour MSP caught on camera lusting over a 'dark and dusky' woman in Holyrood's viewing gallery has been forced to resign from a key parliamentary post. Frank McAveety last night quit as convener of the Scottish parliament's petitions committee after lurid comments he made about a member of the public were inadvertently picked up by Holyrood's TV channel. The married former Culture Minister was seen ogling a dark-haired girl in the public gallery while speaking to his committee clerk. He was then heard to say: 'There's a very attractive girl in the second row. Dark and dusky. We'll maybe...

Political novices generally make poor candidates for federal office. It is not that they are dumb, it is that they are not used to the 24/7 news-cycle. Think of H. Ross Perot’s unsteady campaign. Furthermore, novices do not understand that a media that loved them when they were running HP, will not love them when they are a Republican nominee for the Senate. Carly Fiorina is an impressive woman. She had to be in order to reach the top of a tech giant in the Silicon Valley, but she did not understand that the media would be out to get...

A few days ago, California Republican Senate Candidate Carly Fiorina was caught on an open mic calling fellow GOP gubernatorial candidate Meg Whitman’s decision to go on Hannity the day after her primary victory “bizarre” and calling Sean Hannity a “tough interview.” Last night, Fiorina went on the program herself to face the tough interviewer and say she’s sorry. “It’s good to have you, I think?” Hannity opened the interview, and gave her time to explain what she was talking about. She was gracious and explained that, while her tone might have hinted otherwise, she was actually complimenting him: “You’re...

California: We're not sure what to make of Barbara Boxer's hair, but she's clearly not bringing a new look to Washington politics. Likewise, in the race for governor, Democrats are going with '70s nostalgia. As open-mike moments go, Carly Fiorina has just had one that might be called a happy gaffe. Sure, it's a little undignified to be caught on video dishing your opponent's hairdo at the start of a Senate campaign. Columnist Ruth Marcus (at IBDeditorials.com) finds this kind of behavior way too middle schooly. And Fiorina was at least slightly on the defensive, pointing out that she was...

Don't politicians ever learn? Just hours after winning California's GOP Senate nomination, Carly Fiorina was unknowingly captured on a live microphone trashing her Democratic rival Barbara Boxer's hair. "God, what is that hair?" the former Hewlett Packard chief said, quoting a friend. "Sooo yesterday,"

TRENDING: Open mic catches Fiorina dig at Boxer Posted: June 9th, 2010 04:57 PM ET From CNN Ticker Producer Alexander Mooney (CNN) – Newly-minted U.S. Senate Republican nominee Carly Fiorina added her name Wednesday to the annals of unfortunate politicians caught by an open mic. Waiting to be interviewed by affiliate KXTV Wednesday morning, Fiorina is clearly heard taking a dig at her rival for the California Senate seat, Sen. Barbara Boxer, D-California. "God, what is that hair?" a laughing Fiorina said, while quoting a friend who had recently seen Boxer on television. "So yesterday."

CA Assemblyman Caught on Hot Mic Offering Lewd Details of Affair with Lobbyist SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - A Republican state lawmaker from Southern California was ousted Wednesday from two legislative committees after he was caught on tape bragging about having sex with female lobbyists. Assemblyman Mike Duvall of Yorba Linda made the comments to another man during a break in a committee meeting at the Capitol over the summer, and they were caught on a microphone at his desk.

Well, I just got mugged by the nature of modern media, and I wish it weren't my fault, but it is. Readers deserve an explanation, so I'm putting a new top on today's column and, with the forbearance of the Journal, here it is.
