HELENA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -- Helena police say a liquor store owner shot a man who was trying to rob her store. Helena Police Officer Robert Johnson says around 4pm Monday two men attempted to rob the Helena Package Store, and at least one of them was armed. The store owner shot one suspect with a handgun, but the other one got away. The injured suspect is in stable condition at the Medical Center of Central Georgia.
