President Trump on Thursday said it was “great” to see Republican Kelli Ward challenging Sen. Jeff Flake of Arizona, who the president labeled “toxic” and a “non-factor” in the U.S. Senate. “Great to see that Dr. Kelli Ward is running against Flake Jeff Flake, who is WEAK on borders, crime and a non-factor in Senate. He’s toxic!” Mr. Trump tweeted. The president’s open embrace of a primary challenger to a sitting Republican senator comes as Mr. Trump prepares to head to Phoenix next week for a campaign rally, where he could formally endorse a challenger to Mr. Flake, who has...

PHOENIX - The Confederate monument that stands at Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza, just outside the Arizona state Capitol, looked a little different than it usually does Tuesday evening. In addition to its memorializing of Arizona Confederate soldiers and its erectors, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, the statue got a few new decorations. At the top, a ribbon hung with the words, "You lost, get over it," and at the bottom, the monuments message "A nation that forgets its past has no future" had been covered with a "2nd Place," "Participant" banner.

Phoenix Mayor Greg Stanton said he is "disappointed" that President Donald Trump plans to hold a campaign rally in Arizona during the national turmoil following the events in Charlottesville over the weekend. Trump is planning a campaign-style rally in Arizona next week, amid an uproar sparked by his ambivalent response to white supremacists and the death of an anti-racist protester in the Charlottesville violence. The President host supporters in Phoenix next Tuesday, one week after he reiterated his claim that anti-racist protesters were as violent as Ku Klux Klan and neo-Nazi protesters in Charlottesville and that the "alt-right" groups included...

The American Center for Law and Justice filed a FOIA request for information surrounding the infamous 2016 Arizona “Tarmac Meeting” between Bill Clinton and Attorney General Loretta Lynch during the ongoing Hillary Clinton investigation. The ACLJ has a summary of their initial review –SEE HERE– However, various internet researchers who have reviewed the initial 413 pages (pdf embed below) have discovered something very interesting. It appears Attorney General Loretta Lynch used an email alias in her communication to disguise her identity. Lynch’s alias appears to be “Elizabeth Carlisle“.

PHOENIX, Arizona — There is concern among Phoenix police officers that proposed changes by the city’s police department to restrict officers from contacting immigration authorities will lead to an explosion in gang violence similar to the one that gripped the city in the 80’s and 90’s. In recent weeks, Phoenix officials have been discussing changing the city’s Police Operation Orders with a revision that would not allow officers to contact U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during traffic stops or investigations, Breitbart Texas reported. Before an officer can contact ICE, they “must first contact the Violent Crimes Bureau (VCB) desk...

Days after Judicial Watch exposed a new policy banning Phoenix police from contacting the feds after arresting illegal aliens, alarming pressure on the city council and chief of police has forced officials in Arizona’s largest city to postpone the order. Crafted at a Hispanic advisory committee that promotes open borders, the policy also prohibits officers from asking about suspects’ immigration status. The new policy’s two principle measures violate key provisions of a state law upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court and leave the city vulnerable to costly lawsuits. In the aftermath of Judicial Watch’s story, which included a copy of...

When former Attorney General Loretta Lynch testified last year about her decision not to prosecute Hillary Clinton for mishandling classified information, she swore she never talked to “anyone” on the Clinton campaign. That categorical denial, though made in response to a series of questions about whether she spoke with Clintonworld about remaining attorney general if Hillary won the election, could come back to haunt her. The Senate Judiciary Committee, which has launched a bipartisan investigation into Lynch for possible obstruction of justice, recently learned of the existence of a document indicating Lynch assured the political director of Clinton’s campaign she...

A study by City.com reveals that the crime rate in Phoenix dropped dramatically after the city dropped its sanctuary city policies. There are many reason why crime rates decline over a certain period of time. But the study suggests a provacative link between fewer criminal illegal aliens roaming the streets and a falling crime rate. Breitbart: “When we eliminated our sanctuary policy back in 2008, we saw crime, violent and stolen vehicles fall by 25 percent,†former Phoenix police officer and Executive Director of the Arizona Police Association Levi Bolton told Fox News Channel’s William La Jeunesse in an ....

By William Lajeunesse Published June 30, 2017 Fox News Now Playing New bills spark debate over the safety of sanctuary cities At the center of national debate, a question remains unanswered: Are sanctuary cities that protect illegal immigrants safer than non-sanctuary cities? Sanctuary supporters claim they are. "Police chiefs across the nation believe that enlisting local police to enforce immigration law is a bad idea," California Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon, a Democrat, claimed at a news conference last week. "Having [Immigration and Customs Enforcement] pluck criminals out of jail and send them across the border or wherever...

Phoenix mayor plans to rename a street that is named after Robert E. Lee. Residents do not want to see the name of their street changed. 75 percent of people living on a Phoenix street need to approve of a name change before it's made. But the council will vote on changing that, giving the elected officials the power to make changes without residential approval.
