PHILADELPHIA (CBS) — Philadelphia police have released images of the suspect wanted for spray-painting racial slurs on the Cecil B. Moore mural in North Philadelphia. Police say he was also caught spray-painting slurs at Brightside Academy and Habitat for Humanity. The incidents happened on Feb. 15, between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. The suspect is described as a black male, between 25 to 35 years of age, with a medium build. He was wearing a black jacket, gray sweatshirt, blue jeans, brown shoes and carrying a black duffel bag.

School officials there say racially inflammatory fliers were placed on approximately 15 to 20 cars on campus Tuesday night. POMONA, Calif. (AP) - A Claremont McKenna College psychology professor who claimed someone vandalized her car with racist and anti-Semitic slurs was charged with filing a false police report and insurance fraud. Kerri Dunn's claim of being the victim of a hate crime shocked Claremont and associated colleges 30 miles east of Los Angeles, leading to rallies against intolerance last month. Police and the FBI began investigating, but within days police reported there were witness accounts of Dunn vandalizing the car herself.
