SAN DIEGO -- The bodies of a couple and their two daughters were discovered at a San Diego home Tuesday morning, police and family members said. Firefighters, paramedics and police were sent to 162 Parkcreek Court, a home at the end of a cul de sac at about 6:40 a.m., San Diego police Lt. Ernie Herbst said. NCIS agents have confirmed that Frederico Pimienta, the U.S. Marine on the run, has made it out of the United States. They hope they can catch up to him before he slips further away- and they say they know where he went right after leaving.

CAMP LEJEUNE, N.C. -- A Marine whose gun went off while he was cleaning it, killing a comrade in Afghanistan, was sentenced in absentia Friday to 12 years in prison. Lance Cpl. Frederico Pimienta, 23, was convicted Thursday of involuntary manslaughter in the death of Lance Cpl. Russell White, who was shot in the head last year.
