IkhwanOnline, the official Web site of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood, posted an article on Thursday asserting that the country’s new interim president, Adly Mansour, is secretly Jewish. The article, since taken offline, suggested that Mansour was part of an American and Israeli conspiracy to install Mohamed ElBaradei, a former U.N. official and Egyptian opposition figure, as president. Mansour, the supreme justice of Egypt’s Supreme Constitutional Court, was sworn in as interim president on Thursday after the military announced that President Mohamed Morsi was no longer in charge. Morsi was a close ally of the Muslim Brotherhood, which has held large demonstrations protesting...

TEL AVIV — Seven members of Hamas were arrested in Cairo after being caught with explosive-laden cars meant to be used in a series of attacks in Egypt, according to a senior Egyptian intelligence official speaking to WND. The official said the Hamas gunmen were working in conjunction with members of the Muslim Brotherhood pending a decision by leaders within the Islamist group to order attacks in retaliation for the military’s ouster of Mohamed Morsi as president following days of massive popular protests.

Cracks are appearing in the diplomatic wall Israel is trying to build to isolate Hamas, as French and Turkish leaders made comments over the weekend reflecting Russian President Vladimir Putin's call for a dialogue with Hamas. France indicated on Friday that it supported Putin's move, even though a Foreign Ministry spokesman said that France won't itself have contacts with Hamas. Putin said Thursday that Russia was maintaining its contacts with Hamas and planned to invite the group's leadership to Russia in the near future. A top Russian envoy said that a Hamas delegation could travel to Moscow by the end...

A video believed to feature Pashtun school children in south-east Afghanistan recreating a terrorist attack has been posted on social networking sites. The 84-second clip appears to show a veiled boy bid farewell to his friends before approaching a group of children nearby and blowing himself up. Sand is tossed in the air to simulate the detonation as children fall to the ground. As the dust settles, their playmates gather round and pretend to identify the dead.

JERUSALEM - Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah Party will only form a coalition government with parties willing to negotiate with Israel and will not ask Hamas militants to join if they do not renounce violence, a top official said Sunday. However, Fatah's top candidate, jailed Palestinian uprising leader Marwan Barghouti, said Sunday that Fatah and Hamas "are heading toward being partners in the field, and in parliament." Barghouti, interviewed in an Israeli prison by the Arab satellite TV station Al-Jazeera, did not say what partnership he envisioned. Recent polls indicate that Fatah and Hamas are running neck-and-neck ahead of Wednesday's...

As the news of Osama bin Laden’s death spread, the free world breathed a deep sigh of relief and praised the United States for its accomplishment. But in the Palestinian territories, such sentiments were not shared. In the eyes of Ismail Haniyeh and the infamous Hamas terrorist organization he leads, the operation “marks the continuation of the American policy based on oppression and the shedding of Muslim and Arab blood.” Really? If killing the man responsible for the worst terrorist attack in U.S. history — not to mention the aggressor who did more to subjugate and kill fellow Muslims who...

On Sunday, Aaron Klein and John Batchelor interviewed Ahmed Yousef, chief political adviser to the Prime Minister of Hamas, on WABC radio. The interview produced a scoop which, for some reason, has not been widely publicized: Hamas has endorsed Barack Obama for President. Yousef said, "We like Mr. Obama and we hope he will win the election." Why? "He has a vision to change America." Maybe Yousef has some insight into what Obama means by all these vague references to "change." Of course, Hamas's taste in American presidents is suspect. Yousef also described Jimmy Carter, who was about to pay...

Egypt Prime Minister Hisham Kandil traveled to Gaza this week. While in Gaza Kandil was shown the body of a dead child at the Gaza hospital. He paused for a few photos. (Reuters) [Snip] But it was all a lie. Hamas not only uses their children as human shields (firing rockets from kindergartens), but is, also, using their children’s dead bodies as propaganda…and lying. They claimed that the child in this picture, being held by Egyptian PM Kandil, was killed by an Israeli airstrike in Gaza. That’s a lie. He was killed by a Hamas rocket. Elder of Ziyon reported,...

Excerpts from the New Hamas Comic; Praising Terrorism To Children 23 October 2002 Hamas has launched a new comic for children, al-Fateh (http://www.al-fateh.net). The second edition, (Oct. 2002) as published on the Internet site of the Hamas movement, lashes out against the "Jewish enemy" and the other countries that assist it against the Palestinians. The newspaper also attacks those assisting the "Jewish enemy" from within the Palestinian population, portraying them as traitors who sell themselves to the Jews. The newspaper connects the Jihad and the religion of Islam. It calls upon children to educate themselves according to Islam, in...

When asked by the media for his thoughts on the Hamas triumph in the Palestinian parliamentary elections, former President Jimmy Carter replied that while they have a terrorist past, at least they're not corrupt. One of the complaints by many in the Middle East was the corruption within the Palestinian Authority and Yasser Arafat's Fatah Party. Arafat himself squirreled away millions of dollars from aid packages that were intended to help the Palestinian people. However, Carter's comment appears to dismiss the years of death and destruction perpetrated by Hamas on the Jewish State. One of the first statements made by...

Allah’s promise to Prophet still valid: Islam shall conquer Rome Source: Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), Mar. 5, 2010 "The tidings are still valid… about the conquest of Rome, Allah willing. So, did you hear about the Hamas Parliament speaker who, during a sermon on Sudanese television, called for Allah to kill all Jews and Americans? You didn’t? Why might that be? After all, this happened about three weeks ago, was reported by Memri TV on April 13 the very same day, hit Digg on April 20, and was reported by CNSNews on April 26. And you still didn’t hear about this?Could there be a reason why the media ignored such an extraordinary statement by a Hamas official who happens to currently be the acting speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council, or...
