Two LAPD cops who ignored calls to attend a robbery at a nearby Macy's to play Pokemon have failed in their bid to have their firing reversed. California's court of appeals ruled Tuesday that Louis Lozano and Eric Mitchell were rightfully terminated in 2017 after refusing to go to the scene of a robbery at the Crenshaw mall, with Lozano responding: 'Aw, screw it.' Instead, the cops decided to hunt down a 'Snorlax' character that had appeared nearby on Pokemon Go, which lets players 'capture' virtual reality characters who pop up on a phone map of nearby locations. According to a police report, the gang surrounded the woman in a small alcove, took off her clothes...

The campaign, titled "Don't Shoot Us," offers new insights into how Russian agents created a broad online ecosystem where divisive political messages were reinforced across multiple platforms,...

Moltres, Zapdos ready to accept Obama's surrender I hope ISIS isn’t reading this. If you want to cross the border into the United States, it’s easy enough. Just grab a cell phone and download Pokemon GO, then play to your heart’s content while you casually wander across the border. The worst that can happen under the Obama Administration is that they’ll call your mother, since they’re certainly not going to treat you differently because you adhere to radical Islam. That would be discriminatory. These two set the standard:

This year, February 27, Pokémon (pocket monster) turned 20. It was created by Japanese game designer Satoshi Tajiri for Nintendo as a video game for the old Gameboy handheld video game platform. My sons still own theirs. It was introduced to the United States in 1998. Nintendo was quick to capitalize on its popularity. The video game soon spawned a celebrated trading card game, books, movies and a television series. The tag line of Pokémon is: “Gotta Catch Em All.” Since then, at least a few of the Pokémon characters have gained international recognition. One of the most recognized characters,...
