Newcomer Nancy Mace and libertarian-leaning state Sen. Lee Bright are set to become the second and third GOP candidates to announce their intentions to run against the second-term senator, and political watchers in the Palmetto State believe the field may expand even further in the coming weeks. At first glance, when gaming out Graham’s chances of surviving a multi-candidate primary and going on to win re-election, the logic seems simple: the more competitors, the merrier. For a lawmaker who has long raised the ire of some rank-and-file conservatives with his deal-brokering and occasional breeches from Republican orthodoxy, there is a...

It's not every day that a high school student gets to ask a question at a White House press briefing. Yesterday, 16-year-old Gabe Finger, an intern at The Daily Caller, asked Press Secretary Jay Carney whether President Obama plans to take any action after the death threats to George Zimmerman and his family. Carney said he wasn't aware of any specific reports about death threats, but deferred to Florida authorities. He then brushed off the question as "ridiculous." Finger explained to Steve Doocy this morning that it was decided at the office what question would be asked and he had...

Is Obama gay? When I first heard a few days ago that Obama might be gay, my initial reaction was, that's ridiculous. He's married, has two kids, and he's never set off my gaydar. I had read a few years ago about Larry Sinclair, who claimed he had given Obama oral sex when Obama was a state senator. But at the time I just figured that any famous person is bound to attract a few loonies who will say anything to get publicity. But after I read the article linked two posts ago (and directly below), I started reading more...

Anderson Cooper, who has been reluctant to talk about his personal life in public, revealed that he is gay in an essay posted online on Monday. The CNN journalist said he had kept his sexual orientation private for personal and professional reasons, but came to think that remaining silent had given some people a mistaken impression that he was ashamed. "The fact is, I'm gay, always have been, always will be, and I couldn't be any more happy, comfortable with myself and proud," he wrote in a letter to Andrew Sullivan of the Daily Beast. Cooper, the son of Gloria...

GREENVILLE, SC --- Just a week before graduation, 23 year old Chris Peterman should be preparing his cap and gown. Instead, the Bob Jones University student says he's fighting for the degree he believes he's earned, and he believes the popular television show "Glee" may be partly to blame.

The last time Bradley Manning saw the world outside of a jail, most Americans had never heard of WikiLeaks. On Friday, Manning, the man whose alleged unauthorized release of hundreds of thousands of classified documents put the website and its controversial leader, Julian Assange, on the map, turns 23 behind bars. Since his arrest in May, Manning has spent most of his 200-plus days in solitary confinement...his attorney, David Coombs, revealed key details about Manning’s imprisonment and kind gestures from his family that provided a bit of comfort in the inmate's otherwise extremely harsh incarceration.... Manning asked for a list...

It was childishly easy, according to the published chatlog of a conversation Manning had with a fellow-hacker. "I would come in with music on a CD-RW labelled with something like 'Lady Gaga' … erase the music … then write a compressed split file. No one suspected a thing ... [I] listened and lip-synched to Lady Gaga's Telephone while exfiltrating possibly the largest data spillage in American history." He said that he "had unprecedented access to classified networks 14 hours a day 7 days a week for 8+ months".

A Tauranga radio station's row over the word poofter has come to a close, with listeners ruling the station should not have to apologise for using the gay slur on air. More FM's breakfast show came under fire after a host was accused of "acting like a poofter" and a complaint was made to the Broadcasting Standards Authority. The complaint was not upheld. Members of the gay community set up a Facebook page called "More FM - Say Sorry!" in response. Mediaworks and More FM general manager Tim Lockhart said 80 per cent of votes from listeners supported the Broadcasting...

The New York Times token resident conservative, occupying the Larry Craig distinguished columnist chair, recently wrote a fascinating article (Two Theories of Change) on the differences between the French Revolution and the American revolution, based upon the differences between their respective philosophical bases. As usual, it is concise, contains a wealth of material, and draws from a wide variety of sources. Also, as usual, it is completely wrong: this piece virtually cries out for a Fisking. Let's start with the first two paragraphs, to get off on the wrong foot(*)."When I was in college I took a course in the...

Rep. Eric Massa (D-N.Y.) will not seek re-election after only one term in office. According to several House aides – on both sides of the aisle – the House ethics committee has been informed of allegations that Massa, who is married with two children, sexually harassed a male staffer. Massa and his office did not immediately respond to requests for comment, but his office has scheduled a press conference for later this afternoon. Massa, a 20-year Navy veteran, was elected to office last November. He serves on the Agriculture, Armed Services and Homeland Security committees.

Alan Turing, who is said to be the father of modern computer science, was a WWII code-breaker until he was prosecuted by the British government for having homosexual relations. Thousands have now signed a petition calling for a government apology.Turing committed suicide two years after his prosecution in 1954, but was before given experimental chemical castration as a “treatment”. Here is video of Rep. Barney Frank in an off-the-cuff moment admitting what we have known all along. Frank is confronted by someone as he walks to the elevator on why the Democrats are not demanding a "single-payer" Government Health Care System - in other words - total Socialized Medicine that is Government controlled. Frank said it would be "suicidal" to demand that because the votes just are not there. But he said if they can get ObamaCare passed with a "public option," it would lead to a "single-payer" system - that's the "best way" according to Frank. Frank reveals...

The homosexual community now has its gay dating web site, paid for by a Christian businessman. And an honorable man of biblical beliefs has been bludgeoned into submission by the scam of "tolerance" and "non-discrimination" and the judicial tyranny of a New Jersey state agency. In November, eHarmony.com, a Christian-based matchmaking service, was strong-armed by the state Civil Rights Division and agreed to set up (or see here) a parallel web site for gays. The agreement was made after the state agency acted following a lawsuit filed by a gay man, who said he felt discriminated against. Complying with that...

Bow, NH—No longer satisfied with having an upbeat tone, John Edwards is ready to draw blood on the campaign trail, flogging any opponent that gets in his way. During his campaign, he plans to punch harder, especially when addressing Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton, talk show radio host Rush Limbaugh, and big oil. "Hillary continues to defend a system that does not work, that is broken, that is rigged, and is corrupt," Edwards said. “And if you think I’m going to let an emasculating woman become President of the United States, then you’re out of your mind." Critics say that he...
