There are reports on SM that JQK was on Greta tonight, and expressed his anger with KJ.

I missed the program - remote was in other hands.

Did anyone see Greta tonight, and hear what JQK said?

Average hotel occupancy rate fell in March 2006
Fall Occupancy Rates, Still At Acceptable Level
    May 24th 2005, Aruba.

PALM BEACH-The average hotel occupancy rate stood at 83.5 percent in March 2006 in comparison to the occupancy rate of 88.9 percent of March 2005, a decline of 5.4 percentage points.

The decline in average occupancy rate is a direct result of less visitors to the island in March 2006.

The decline in visitors to Aruba in March 2006 is linked to the fact that the long Easter weekend fell in April this year instead of March last year. The long Easter weekend traditionally attracts thousands of Latin American visitors to Aruba mainly from Venezuela.

Aruba Tourism Authority has yet to release statistics of the amount of visitors to Aruba for the first 3 months of 2006.

The occupancy rates in Aruba have shown a declining trend since September 2005. The average hotel occupancy rates for January and February 2006 are of 83.1 percent (2.8 percentage points decline) and 87.8 percent (1.7 percentage point decline) respectively.

Though the average occupancy rates fell, they are considered at acceptable levels in the hotel business.

    On Greta, tonight:

Tito: The police were searching Guido's former home, looking for anything to connect him with the investigation; computer, records, documents. They took computers, documents and an ATV- guadracer.

KJ is not saying anything al all about this search.

Guido was released in the morning yesterday, and about 3 to 4 PM yesterday the house was searched for 1-1/2 hours.

On the panel - Jeff: No, a confession alone is not enough, without a witness or other evidence, even getting a confession is just not going to do it.

Joe Hammer: He would like to see just what was written on the search warrant as to probable cause.

On 5-23 “FoxNews” reported that Current Suspect G. WEVER has been released from custody by the UTRECHT, HOLLAND police. His lawyer, GERARD SPONG, has stated that WEVER is openly gay, and that the “scratches” that witnesses have stated they saw on WEVER may have been cosmetic make-up that WEVER wears.

Current Suspect G. WEVER has agreed he will return for police questioning should the police require further questionings.

It was reported that during his days in the custody of the UTRECHT police that live satellite video feeds of Current Suspect G. WEVER’s interrogations were fed to ARUBAN police.

Maybe that is the reason the search warrant was issued and his parents house was searched today.

Also, speculation on SM that it was G who provided Joran with a ride home from the beach that night. Quadracer ride, anyone?

Gardener = Carlos Alberto Penata Ramos.

I think one of the last names is the person's mother's maiden name. I don't remember how that works.

Taco: Joran talked to Guido when Guido walked out of jail. Joran told G he was sorry G was dragged into the case.

That Joran, he's all heart - rushed to side of released suspect on jail steps - even though he scarcely knows him - uh huh.

This is what was probably said on the jail steps:

J: G you retard bast***, how much did you tell them? You are dead meat, piece of sh**, you know that don't you. My Dad's friends will get you and ...

I just finished watching Greta and Rita's show simultaneously.. This is what I got:

    Greta:
Tito: Guido's house on Aruba searched, per warrant, and items were confiscated.

Taco: Joran talked to Guido when Guido walked out of jail. Joran told G he was sorry G was dragged into the case.

Taco: It's baffling that Tito said that Guido's house was searched today. Taco goes on to be critical of KJ, extreme level of incompetence - KJ should go.

Beth: I didn't know that (about search of Guido's house) - Is that right? Wow!, its unbelievable. John tells us don't have raised expectations, however.

Greta: Nine months ago 5 witnesses said Guido had scratches on his face after Natalee disappeared - but police say they did not see scratches.

Beth: We knew early on that Guido was taken into casino owner - Michael Posner's office with police for questioning - Guido was very nervous.

    On Rita, with Lauren Lake:

Dave: We heard last week about a witness named Carlos, he said he witnessed something and he had forensic evidence. Dave told lhim to go to the police.

Aruba plays a significant role as an offshore center for drug-related money laundering. Money laundering organizations are well established on Aruba and enjoy protection from considerable bank secrecy laws and a stable currency.

The organizations use Aruba's offshore banking and incorporation systems, free-zone areas, and resort/casino complexes, to transfer and to launder drug proceeds. In 2000, the GOA issued several decrees on money laundering that included increased oversight of casinos and insurance companies.

The Netherlands Antilles' large offshore financial sector, bank secrecy, casino/resort complexes, high volume of American and Dutch tourism, and stable currencies make the country conducive to money laundering.

Trinidad and Tobago is not an important regional or offshore financial center. However, drug traffickers reportedly have laundered money using overvalued purchase prices, real estate, casinos, stockbrokers, insurance companies, and other nonfinancial establishments.

    ARUBA: A DRUG TRAFFICKER'S PARADISE

    Jim Kouri, CPP
    August 11, 2005
    NewsWithViews.com

Located only 20 miles off the coast of Venezuela, the island paradise of Aruba serves as a trans-shipment point for illicit drugs—primarily cocaine from South America. Smugglers generally move large loads of cocaine into Aruba on fishing vessels, private yachts, and go-fast boats. They also move drugs out of Aruba inside maritime containerized cargo and airfreight. Drug trafficking organizations continue to exploit Aruba's air and sea links to the continental United States, South America, Europe, Puerto Rico, and other Caribbean nations. Most of the cocaine transiting Aruba is destined for European markets—primarily the Netherlands.

Aruba has large free-zone facilities (areas that allow goods to be held and then re-shipped elsewhere without paying an import or duty tax), which provide opportunities for bulk shipments of cocaine to transit the area without the scrutiny of local officials. Cocaine shipments in containerized cargo increasingly are transiting the area, specifically through the free zone. The free-zone facilities on Aruba are conducive to transshipments, not only of drugs, but also chemicals used in illicit manufacture of drugs. Some firms in the free zone are suspected of involvement in money laundering.

Aruba plays a significant role as an offshore center for drug-related money laundering. Money laundering organizations are well established on Aruba and enjoy protection from considerable bank secrecy laws and a stable currency.

I think the really big money on Aruba is the laundering and transhipment of drug money. Banks are notoriously involved in that.
