Earlier this week Obama administration officials were caught red-handed adding policy facts about their boss into almost every single official presidential biography (since Calvin Coolidge) listed on the White House website. As a result, the Karl Rove-backed Super PAC American Crossroads released a web ad Friday hammering the administration for using such contemptible tactics to promote their economic and legislative agenda. While officials claim the subtle maneuver was “common practice” and “innocuous,” the Super PAC is using the occasion to mock President Obama and shed light on his failed record. BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Elizabeth Warren, folks, I've been thinking about this. Why should she have to prove her heritage? Now, remember, she's a liberal. And she's asserted there's no documentation for this. There's no evidence that she is one-thirty-second Cherokee, and she makes the assertion throughout her career because somebody in her family told her that somebody in her family way-back-when was Cherokee. So her ratio is one-thirty-second Cherokee, and the proof is in the cheekbones. Remember that? I got to thinking, she's a liberal. Why should she have to provide proof of heritage. Liberals don't believe in documentation of...
  • Presidential Biography Insertion Contest

By now most readers will know that whitehouse.gov (Don't click this last link unless you want to see a barf inducing picture of Il Douche.) has a page of links to Presidential biographies. And recently some of these biographies have been tampered with. E.g.:Did you know?  President Reagan designated Martin Luther King Jr. Day a national holiday; today the Obama Administration honors this tradition, with the First and Second Families participating in service projects on this day. In a June 28, 1985 speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate...
  • White House under fire for adding Obama policy plugs to past presidents' bios

The Obama White House is drawing ridicule for appending the official online biographies of nearly every president over the last century in order to link President Obama's accomplishments to the former commanders in chief. The Obama team went into the pages of U.S. presidents dating back to Calvin Coolidge to add friendly looking "Did you know?" fact boxes to the end of their bios. Those additions were used to plug a host of Obama administration initiatives, ranging from the health care overhaul to the so-called "Buffett Rule" to his green-energy policies. For instance, the following line was added to the...
  • Obama's fatal flaw revealed in White House website's presidential bios

Everyone knows presidents have larger-than-life size egos. It goes with the job. But changes on the official White House website reveal that we’ve never had a self-regarding narcissist quite like the Oval Office’s current occupant. They also reveal a fatal flaw in the Obama presidency, which is bad news for the rest of us if Barack Obama wins a second term. It seems the Obama team has been taking the website’s standard biographies of past presidents and inserting gratuitous references to our Beloved Leader. That’s led to entries like, “On February 22, 1924 Calvin Coolidge became the first president to...

May 16, 2012 #ObamainHistory: All Hail President Zelig Lemon Moodring Ed Driscoll The Washington Free Beacon “Illustrates White House’s insertion of Obama into other presidential biographies.” Click over for the Photoshops — and then stop by the “Obama In History” Tumblr site for even more, along with Twitchy, which rounds up reaction on Twitter to the “unexpectedly” fragile ego of our 44th president. But even before news broke yesterday that Obama’s staff were busy inserting their boss’s name into the bios of past presidents ranging from Coolidge to Clinton, Mr. Obama certainly had a Zelig-like reputation. When he wrote in 2006,...
  • Making History: WH Ridiculed on Twitter for Altering Presidential Biography Pages

It was reported yesterday that the White House has “amended” the biography of nearly every U.S. president of the past century, adding a “Did you know?” section at the end where they tied former presidents’ accomplishments to those of president Obama. At the bottom of Reagan’s biography, for instance, the White House tried to plug the “Buffett Rule.”  Did you know, it asks, that “In a June 28, 1985 speech Reagan called for a fairer tax code, one where a multi-millionaire did not have a lower tax rate than his secretary. Today, President Obama is calling for the same with...
  • Obamateurism of the Day

Don’t know much about history …Barack Obama’s attempt to insert himself into the history of his predecessors got a rousing reaction yesterday — consisting mainly of scorn and ridicule. The entire effort qualifies as an Obamateurism simply for its naked narcissism and obvious self-centeredness. But even within the overall effort were a couple of gems worth mentioning, not the least of which is the odd argument that the Department of Energy isn’t part of the Obama administration, but works “with” the White House. One might think that a President would know that Cabinet departments in the executive branch are very...
  • Narcissism update: Obama now inserts himself into online bios of past presidents

It was probably to be expected from a monstrous political ego that considers himself among the top two presidents of the 21st century. But faced with the apparently frightening possibility of losing his reelection bid, Barack Obama has inserted himself into the online White House bios of almost every president in the last nine decades. To somehow share and compare their achievements. At one point Obama even draws his wife into the biographical additions.
