A puppy outfitted with a backpack of explosives serves as a cruel reminder that ISIS is seeking innovative ways to cause mass casualties. Video surfaced this week appearing to show a pup quivering in fear as fighters from the Popular Mobilization Forces describe their discovery. The PMU militia – backed by the Iraqi government – told a camera how they deactivated the remote-controlled explosives – saving themselves and the dog. “What was this animal’s crime?” the fighters ask, according to a translation from Metro U.K. “ISIS booby traps (animals) and send them out against us.”

The trouble began the first hour Eevee was in our house. We tried to put her in the crate, which something Lambic never minded, so we could eat lunch, but Eevee wouldn't stop crying and barking. During her first two weeks with us, we slept with pillows over our heads to drown out her barking at bedtime. I work from home most days and thought that would make housetraining easier, but I soon realized it made it harder because there was no set schedule or routine for Eevee. Some days she wouldn’t go in the crate at all. Other days...

Alex Dennison and Ashley Lewis should have listened to people. The Australian couple adopted their German Shepherd, Nasra, when she was eight weeks old. The pair were frequently stopped on the street by strangers who complimented the beautiful canine while telling them that, based on the size of her paws and head, she was going to be a big girl. Dennison and Lewis usually laughed off the warnings. They did, however, create a growth chart by photographing Nasra every month. In the series, the first image starts with Lewis comfortably cradling Nasra to the latest image where the dog is...

The only thing cuter than a litter of puppies may be a little monkey going gaga over a bunch of newborn pups. A video of a capuchin monkey after its introduced to a gaggle of black and white puppies that have yet to even open their eyes proves it. Like any human pet lover, the monkey immediately goes in for a big hug. He then pets the pups just like a kid who's just gotten his first dog. Minus a brief moment where the monkey appears to search one of the dog's fur for parasites, its reaction is indiscernible from...

Food Beast May 22, 2014, 6:02 PM The most important thing with pet care is knowing what you can and can't feed your dog. That and capitalizing on your puppy for hilarious memes. As long as you stick to a pretty decent doggy diet, everything should be gravy right? Wrong. Turns out there's a ton of foods you probably didn't know about that can actually be really bad for your dog, including some that are perfectly healthy for humans. After all, there's nothing worse than having your dog suffer over a simple mistake in diet. While they're still man's best...

New Levels Of Cruelty Reached by Arabs in Jerusalem Update: The source for this post is the “0404 News“, an internet based outlet that report predominantly about Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria, IDF. More often than not, they are tipped directly by IDF and Police personnel about items, especially items that do not gain media attention, like rock throwing, firebombs, and other attacks on armed forces and civilians, often accompanied with private photos taken with their cellular phones. While I personally do not doubt the veracity of this report, it should be stated that as of now, no other news outlets...
