The faith-based studio Pure Flix Entertainment has changed its corporate name to Pinnacle Peak Pictures as it begins production on “God's Not Dead: We the People.” Pure Flix Entertainment is the studio behind the “God's Not Dead” franchise. It's rebranding to Pinnacle Peak Pictures follows AFFIRM Entertainment acquiring the Pure Flix subscription VOD service last year. The mission to rescue 12 boys and their soccer coach from a Thai cave is to get the Hollywood treatment in a movie announced by faith-based production house Pure Flix. Like the first film, the multi-plot story follows several characters as they faces challenges due to their faith. Many of the characters (and the Newsboys) from the first film are back. The primary story is about a teacher who answers a student's question in class and references the teachings of Jesus. Enjoyable film and relevant as today's headlines.
