KARACHI: Raja Qureshi, chief prosecutor in the Pakistani case of slain US reporter Daniel Pearl, has resigned from his post for undisclosed reasons. He submitted a letter late on Friday to the government announcing his decision to resign as the advocate general of the southern Sindh province, but he denied rumours the resignation had been prompted by written threats against him.
