Time for a rough head count on who will be attending the Reagan Library Trip on Sunday, August 1st. We will be meeting for breakfast in Simi Valley at 8:30 am at a location to be announced later this week. Cards, flowers, donations pour in to Reagan Library Mourning in America exhibit opens today Since former President Ronald Reagan died almost one month ago, the cards and letters to his library in Simi Valley have come by the thousands. Visitors have left them, along with flower bouquets, at the foot of his bronze statue. They've mailed them from across the country. We are coordinating a visit to the Reagan Library on August 1. The Library opens at 10:00. Suggest we meet in Simi Valley for a late breakfast (8:30) and head over. Bar-b-que to follow at Rabid Dog's. Get yourself on the ping list so we can advise you of details as they develop. Plans are to make arrangements for a special tour. The Reagan Library is a beautiful facility and well worth a trip. Ventura County has beaches, mountains, etc and is a nice place for a weekend get-away.
