The reboot of the classic episodic TV show The Twilight Zone will hit CBS All Access on April 1st, and with just over a month to go, CBS has released a full trailer for the series. Get Out director Jordan Peele will host and produce the show, as heard in a surreal TV spot that aired during this year’s Super Bowl. This new teaser shows off a bit more of what to expect from this new effort: a series of surreal, unsettling episodes with a cast that includes Adam Scott, Kumail Nanjiani, John Cho, and Peele himself.

During a weekend with three major new releases, holdovers “Suicide Squad,” from Warner Bros., and “Sausage Party,” from Sony, maintained their top spots at the box office. This means the big-budget reimagining of “Ben-Hur,” from Paramount Pictures and MGM, is one of the biggest flops of the summer. The third version of Lew Wallace’s 19th century novel “Ben-Hur: A Tale of the Christ” took in an estimated $11.4 million in the U.S and Canada, which was only good enough for fifth place. HISTORY® premieres "Roots" on Memorial Day 2016, airing over four consecutive nights at 9 p.m. beginning Monday, May 30, it was announced today by Paul Buccieri, President of A&E and HISTORY. The four-night, eight-hour event series developed by HISTORY, from A+E Studios, is a historical portrait of American slavery recounting the journey of one family and their will to survive and ultimately carry on their legacy despite hardship.

As we mark the 40th anniversary of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Fox is prepping a remake of the cult classic. The two-hour taped event special, which is in development with a cast-contingent order, is executive produced by Gail Berman of The Jackal Group; the 1975 movie's producer Lou Adler; and Kenny Ortega, who is set to direct and choreograph.
