There are three of them. The first from the New York Times last October, in which nameless sources told the New York Times that agents of the Trump campaign were in contact with Russia during the campaign and discussing ways to sabotage the Hillary campaign....

A former spokesman for the Department of Justice says that White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus must resign in the wake of revelations that he had called the FBI to ask them to publicly deny a story about the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russian intelligence officials. Appearing on Chris Hayes’s show on MSNBC, ex-DOJ spokesman Matthew Miller said that anyone in the Obama administration would have been fired instantly for doing anything close to what Priebus did.

Wasserman Schultz delivered where Priebus didn’t. Now the Clinton forces have disowned her on this, their most public of stages, and Wasserman Schultz will be lucky if she can hang on to her congressional seat.

Reince Priebus, the beleaguered and balding Republican National Committee chairman, was asked a few days ago about his mane. “How much gray hair do you think you’re going to have by December?” CNN’s Jake Tapper inquired. “Gray is fine,” the party boss replied. “I just want to make sure I have hair.” Alternatively, he could try a Whig. On August 6th, in front of a national audience, Donald Trump refused to pledge support for any GOP candidate, and refused to pledge he would not run an independent campaign. In my opinion, it was the most publicly brave political act witnessed in the last two decades. It takes remarkable courage and commitment to principle to stand on the national stage and be the only person to raise your hand. It would have been easier, more politically favorable, and essentially irrelevant in the long term, for Trump to make the pledge. But he didnÂ’t, he took the path of principle....
