The Salvation Army wants its white donors to give it more than just money this Christmas season. Its leadership is also demanding they apologize for being racist. It's part of a push by the Christian charitable organization to embrace the ideas of Black Lives Matter, an activist group working to, among other things, "dismantle white privilege" and "disrupt the Western-prescribed nuclear family structure." The Salvation Army's Alexandria-based leadership has created an "International Social Justice Commission" which has developed and released a "resource" to educate its white donors, volunteers and employees called Let's Talk about Racism. It asserts Christianity is institutionally...

These holy women need the fierce protection and ongoing support of Catholic laity in the face of a coordinated onslaught by this papacy to undermine, secularize, and monetize this cloistered order.'FAIRFIELD, Pennsylvania (LifeSiteNews) — A community of traditional nuns have rejected Vatican instructions aimed at undermining their contemplative way of life. Catherine Bauer, the official spokeswoman for the traditional Carmelite nuns of Fairfield, Pennsylvania, has given an interview to Catholic World Report explaining the situation of these nuns in the wake of a recent apostolic visitation that took place at the end of September. She described the changes being demanded...

Help needed with Religious Exemption prep!My company came out with a vax mandate and I have filed for a religious exemption. My initial request had the following statements... I received a message today that they want to have an interactive discussion about my request... The focus of the discussion is to learn more about your religious beliefs and restrictions, and discuss potential accommodations.I am a little nervous as to what they might ask, how I might respond, etc. I don't want to lose my chance at an exemption by fumbling my responses. Any guidance and resources would be appreciated. Below...

I have been reading about the types of questions for those who applied for religious exemptions for the COVID vaccine. Here is a list Please describe whether, as an adult, you have received any vaccines against any other diseases (such as a flu vaccine or a tetanus vaccine) and, if so, what vaccine you most recently received and when, to the best of your recollection. 2. If you do not have a religious objection to the use of all vaccines, please explain why your objection is limited to certain vaccines. 3. If there are any other medicines or products that...

Finally, our work, allegedly a fed contractor, has given us forms for the exemptions from the COVID jab. There is one question: Are there any reasonable accommodations of which you are aware that would enable you to perform your job duties on-site, if required, without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of the employee or others? If so,please specify the reasonable accommodation and why you believe it will be effective: I said I could * wear mask * social distance * stay inside my office with door closed * take zoom calls for meetings and not be...

I have to go the religious exemption route to avoid the jab. Going with the aborted fetal cell arguments works with J&J but Pfizer and Moderna do not use aborted fetal cells but their technology does. It seems to be pretty weak argument to me. Any ideas? Thanks.

The Christian cold war will mean an increase in church splits, takeovers, and other power struggles as people choose sides on existential questions, including theology.Along with the rest of the country, American Christianity is in the middle of a cold war. As this war heats up, it will mean church splits, takeovers, fights over denominational resources, and other power struggles as the Donald Trump era has increasingly brought clarity and pushed people to choose sides on existential questions. The Southern Baptist Convention, the United States’ largest Protestant denomination, is one key example of this dynamic affecting American Christianity as a whole....

United Airlines told its staff on Wednesday that those who are granted religious exemptions from getting vaccinated against the coronavirus will be placed on a temporary unpaid leave, CNBC reported. In August, United became the first major U.S. airline to issue a vaccine mandate for its employees. Employees were given until five weeks after the Pfizer vaccine was granted full approval or until Oct. 25 to present proof of being fully vaccinated. As the Food and Drug Administration granted the Pfizer vaccine full approval on Aug. 23, employees will have until Sept. 27 to get fully vaccinated. "We have no...

My Son Samuel, is an attorney and for friends, has written the following request for exemption, to use in work situations. I can’t guarantee it will work, but he puts the issues well and succinct. I asked for permission to post this and he granted it… To whom it may concern: I am writing to notify you of my religious and philosophical objections to the COVID-19 vaccine, and to request a reasonable accommodation and exemption on the basis of those objections. As a Christian, I believe that all life is sacred and bears the image of God. Consequently, I believe...

Far-left documentary filmmaker Michael Moore compared Christian conservatives to the Taliban, likening oppressive Islamic law to “how a lot of Southern Baptists want it to be” in America and classifying both Christians and the members of the jihadist organization as “religious nuts.” “They’re religious nuts, but we’ve got those here too,” Moore said in an interview with Variety, caveating his concerns of the Taliban stripping away the rights of women by asserting that the U.S. also has issues with religious fundamentalists.

My mother was a hypocrite. She wasn’t a bad person. God knows she did her best with what she was given, but nevertheless, she was a hypocrite. I harbored hatred in my heart toward her because of that, and displayed it in my speech and actions. To this day, I still see that I am not yet over my hatred for hypocrites. It appears I’ve transferred my hatred of my mother to hypocrites I see and know. I say it knowing full well that no grown man should hate his mother or hate anyone, for that matter. I’m certainly not...

WASHINGTON D.C. (LifeSiteNews) — Religious sister, general surgeon, and U.S. Army veteran Sister Deirde Byrne, M.D. took the nation by storm last year when she appeared at the Republican National Convention in full religious habit to give a stirring pro-life address while wielding her weapon: the rosary. Now Byrne’s message for America is to pray and remain in a state of grace in the face of experimental COVID-19 vaccine mandates and a government she fears is headed toward communism. “This battle is not between the right and the left, it’s not between conservatives and liberals or Republicans and Democrats,” the...

More fruit harvested today from the U.S. Supreme Court’s recent Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn as the First Amendment’s guarantee of religious freedom wins in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. From the decision today against Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak’s clearly discriminatory anti-Covid regulations that penalized churches with severe attendance limits while leaving casinos essentially free to operate with no such considerations: “The Supreme Court’s decision in Roman Catholic Diocese compels us to reverse the district court. Just like the New York restrictions, the Directive treats numerous secular activities and entities significantly better than religious worship services. “Casinos, bowling alleys, retail...

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases director Dr. Anthony Fauci said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that the Supreme Court ruling that religious gatherings cannot be restricted in New York State was a “considerable risk for acquisition and spread” of the coronavirus pandemic. Guest host Martha Raddatz said, “The Supreme Court struck down New York’s COVID restrictions on religious gatherings in the state. How concerned are you about legal challenges to pandemic restrictions going forward?

Monday on ABC’s “The View,” former Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel (D) compared athletes kneeling during the national anthem in solidarity with the Black Lives Matter movement to congregants kneeling at religious services. Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “We were talking earlier in the show about athletes taking a knee, and someone told me you had a change of heart on this. What did they mean?

"...Not the very white / Not the moralizing / Not the forbidding / But the burning / the desiring/ For you, passion still has a future." These verses of Gabriel Ringlet say a lot about his faith and the rites of celebration that he wants to re-enchant by inviting artists, believers and others, to celebrate with him. Here we have the least dogmatic faith possible. His own poetry brings a generous light, like his rites. He does not want to be called "father"... "We have a conception of the priest and the priesthood that are part of the false sacred....

Listen on YouTubeDemocratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Tom Perez on Wednesday complained that voters are influenced by what they hear in church on Sundays. Perez claimed that Republicans have an advantage because “people buy” what they hear at church.“And we all have to make sure that we’re fluent in what’s happening across our ecosystem so we can come to each other’s defense because we need to build a bigger orchestra. They’ve had a big orchestra for some time and they’ve got the megaphones to amplify it, whether it’s Sinclair at the local level or Fox at the national level,” Perez...
