It takes a special kind of person to keep pace with the king of conservative talk radio, Rush Limbaugh. Long-time producer James Golden, aka “Bo Snerdley,” accepted the challenge over 25 years ago, and he hasn’t had time to look back since. The years flew by, Golden told BizPac Review in a candid interview. At the beginning “I was real skinny and I had hair,” he said. Despite juggling the duties of producer, researcher and call screener, Golden made the high-stress job sound almost effortless as he described a day in Rush’s world. He and his boss have a similar...

A Commentary by DoughtyOne based on an article appearing in the Los Angeles Times. For quite some time we have been aware of efforts to reduce the impact of Rush Limbaugh on the psyche of the American Public. It was rumored that an effort was underway to remove Rush from many stations so that local programming could take center stage As of the first of the years, it has quietly taken place. Clear channel has moved Rush off superstations across this nation, placing him on third rate stations. Why is this a big deal, you may ask. Well lets use...

Rush Limbaugh has come out swinging in defence of the heavily Irish horse and carriage industry in New York’s Central Park after new mayor Bill de Blasio promised to put them off the streets. Over half the drivers of the 200 horses are Irish, but they are fighting a rearguard action against de Blasio, who had major support from animal rights groups. De Blasio stated that one of his first acts would be to end the horse and carriage trade and replace it with electric car tours. "We are going to quickly and aggressively move to make horse carriages no...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: There's been a study that was conducted. They wanted to find out what's better, happiness or being right. "Is it better to be right than to be happy?" "Is it better to be right than to be happy?" Now, hang on here. Just hang on. You might be in for a little bit all of surprise here. BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: I want to start in Minnetonka, Minnesota, with Andrew. Hi, Andrew. I really appreciate your patience. Thank you very much for waiting. Hello. CALLER: Thank you, sir. I don't think the Republicans are suffering at all from PTSD. I think it's a classic case of the Stockholm Syndrome. They've been held captive for such a long time by the media, scared to death of them, and along comes the rescuers in the form of the Tea Party, and instead of embracing their freedom, they turn on them in the hopes of currying favor with their captors. RUSH:...

In November Rush Limbaugh blasted Pope Francis for his anti-capitalist economic statements. Rush Limbaugh admitted being “befuddled” by the harsh words about “unfettered capitalism” released by Pope Francis. “If it weren’t for capitalism I don’t know where the Catholic Church would be?” The Pope has gone beyond Catholicism here… This is just pure Marxism coming out of the mouth of the Pope.” [video] Today Pope Francis responded saying, “The Marxist ideology is wrong.” But, then he went on to attack free-market “trickle-down” economics. Via Vatican Insider: Some of the passages in the “Evangelii Gaudium” attracted the criticism of ultraconservatives in...

The Vatican Insider newspaper in Italy reported my comments responding to Pope Francis that “Jesus Christ is weeping in heaven hearing Christians espouse a socialist philosophy that has created suffering and poverty around the world. It is impossible to love one’s neighbor as yourself without fighting against socialism,” I hope to explain further and propose solutions. Initially, at least this new Pope Francis is trying. Francis obviously cares. News reports say that Francis is sending the Vatican guards and other staff to go out at night within the City of Rome to help the homeless and the poor. This is...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Now, ladies and gentlemen, you can't escape the media and what's going on here, and it's all very predictable. If you just landed from Mars and turned on the TV, you may be confused over who was Barack Obama and who was Nelson Mandela, based on the way it's being covered. Well, I'm just telling you. The Washington press corps and even the White House are moving here at full speed to associate Barack Obama with Nelson Mandela. Here, grab number three. This just gives you a taste of it here. This is Scott Pelley on the...

(CNN) - Conservative radio talk show host Rush Limbaugh used an analogy about rape Friday to blast this week’s decision by the Senate's Democratic majority to change the chamber’s filibuster rules despite the unanimous opposition of minority Republicans. The so-called “nuclear option” will allow a bare majority of senators – as opposed to 60 - to approve most judicial and executive branch nominations. The Democratic caucus controls 55 of the chamber’s 100 seats. "Let's say, let's take 10 people in a room and they're a group. And the room is made up of six men and four women. The group...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: The news in the Health Care Stack today? It is devastating. This website isn't going to be ready by November 30th. In fact, almost, what is it, 30, 40% of it hasn't even been built yet. And we've got security experts talking about that this is the biggest collection of personal private data any of them have ever seen. Security experts are warning everybody to stay away from HealthCare.gov. All it is, is a vacuum cleaner for every piece of data you enter about yourself. It is just devastating out there. "Top Obamacare IT Official Says 30-40%...

<p>Former Republican Vice Presidential nominee Sarah Palin met with conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh Monday, according to a post on Palin's Facebook page.</p>
<p>"Mega dittos from the EIB network headquarters in Florida!" the former Alaska Gov. wrote of her visit to Limbaugh's radio network. "Got to meet one of my heroes today, Rush Limbaugh. As I've said many times, I was a ditto-head before ditto-head was cool!"</p>

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: Look at that, even Fox is getting this wrong. Fox is reporting that Obama said that he's sorry people are losing their plans. He did not say he's sorry people are losing their plans. He did not say that. He said he's sorry you feel the way you feel over having lost your plan. He's sorry that you believed him. Or he's sorry that you misunderstood him. It's the EIB Network, and it's Friday, my friends. So let's go to. JOHNNY DONOVAN: And now, from sunny South Florida, it's Open Line Friday! RUSH: Yes, sir. On the...

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT RUSH: This is Sunday's This Week with Stephanopoulos and the roundtable discussion. Stephanopoulos says, "This is kind of pile-on time now for the president. I want to show some magazine covers this week as well. You see the New Yorker cover right there. The president is trying to, with a huge cell phone, trying to get HealthCare.gov working. Bloomberg, BusinessWeek, 'Can Obama Reboot?' And Forbes -- this may be the most interesting one -- Vladimir Putin comes up on top of Obama as the most powerful leader in the world. What do we make of this," Jonathan Karl?...
