Kathy Barnette is in a statistical three-way tie with David McCormick and Dr. Oz who’ve largely ignored her campaign until new numbers show Kathy is now a contender. And just like that, everything but the kitchen sink is being thrown at the Barnette campaign beginning yesterday ahead of Tuesday’s primary day. Hear Barnette answer all the accusations and tough questions from Stigall here.

Former Oklahoma House Speaker T.W. Shannon is surging in the Oklahoma Senate Republican primary and now leads the other frontrunner in the race, Rep. James Lankford, in a new survey out from a pro-Shannon group. The survey, conducted by the GOP firm Public Opinion Strategies for Oklahomans for a Conservative Future, gives Shannon 42 percent support among likely Republican primary voters to Lankford’s 32 percent support. That’s a gain of 19 points from another survey in mid-March, when Lankford led Shannon by nine points. The third candidate in the race, former state Sen. Randy Brogdon, takes just seven percent support...

I would like to start a discussion about the various candidates running against Cornyn in the Texas US senate race. Cornyn is a RINO and is running the most disgusting negative campaign against Stockman I have ever seen. It is frightening in its machine like focus. My lovely wife compiled a list of candidates and I thought I would post the information here in case anyone is looking for alternatives or has any comments. All of these guys appear to be small government conservatives and most (all?) are social conservatives. Reid Reasor Retired Lt Col Highly articulate and very conservative...
  • Enemies for Life? Lindsey Graham Just Can't Help Himself

GRAHAM CONTINUES TO BE OBAMA REID PELOSI SPOKESMAN For the second time in just a few days, Lindsey Graham has issued statements that have turned him into a viral internet sensation, drawing scorn and derisive laughter from conservatives across the country. The latest was his proclamation that Ted Cruz and anyone else who “creates a process” that causes the government to shut down would “make an enemy of me….for life.” In context, Graham was clearly blaming Republicans and not Democrats.

TRENTON The race for U.S. Senate in New Jersey is set. Democrat Robert Menendez and Republican Tom Kean Jr. won their parties' nominations in Tuesday's primary. Albio Sires is ahead in his bid to serve Menendez's remaining term in the House. Sires has a slight lead over Perth Amboy Mayor Joe Vas in the primary to run for the seat in November. Voter turnout was expected to be light because there were few contested races and no high-profile ones, but Menendez and Kean were expected move on easily. Low voter turnout was expected to help conservative Republican John Ginty make...
  • Popular Ohio Democrat Drops Out of Race, and Perhaps Politics (Hackett Blasts Democrats)

Paul Hackett, an Iraq war veteran and popular Democratic candidate in Ohio's closely watched Senate contest, said yesterday that he was dropping out of the race and leaving politics altogether as a result of pressure from party leaders. Mr. Hackett said Senators Charles E. Schumer of New York and Harry Reid of Nevada, the same party leaders who he said persuaded him last August to enter the Senate race, had pushed him to step aside so that Representative Sherrod Brown, a longtime member of Congress, could take on Senator Mike DeWine, the Republican incumbent. Mr. Hackett staged a surprisingly strong...
