A theater group in the United Kingdom thinks the best approach to teaching kids about sex is getting naked on a stage in front of children and their parents. In a glowing preview by The Guardian, the production company says the show only discusses the positives of sex and relationships on purpose. Pro-gay activists have launched a boycott of an Iowa baker who declined to create a wedding cake for a lesbian couple based on her religious beliefs. SALT LAKE CITY — Gay rights activists are organizing a nationwide string of kissing demonstrations in response to the treatment of gay couples in Utah and Texas who tangled with security guards or police after kissing in public. The Great Nationwide Kiss-In is scheduled for Aug. 15. Senator Joseph Lieberman, is seeking liberal support in his quest to become the Democrat's nominee for 2004 by seeking to expand civil rights protections for homosexuals. The LA Times reports that the Connecticut Democrat said he soon would introduce legislation guaranteeing health, retirement and other benefits to the domestic partners of gay federal employees.
