An unlicensed pilot managed to walk without serious injuries, but in handcuffs, after crash landing an allegedly stolen small airplane at the Fullerton Municipal Airport on Wednesday, authorities said. The suspect could be seen seated near the plane being questioned by police. The damage to the airplane and fence appeared minor. Officials believed the plane had been taken previously in Chino, although it was not yet clear how long the suspect had it, according to Fullerton police Sgt. Eric Bridges.

LOS ANGELES — Police have arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of flying a small stolen plane that made an unauthorized landing at Los Angeles International Airport. Police spokesman Cleon Joseph says Skye Turner was arrested Friday afternoon, hours after he landed the Cirrus SR22 and was detained for questioning. He was booked on $20,000 bail. An employee at a flight school based in Montgomery Field in San Diego County says the plane was reported missing Thursday night. He says the plane, which belonged to a Georgia-based client of the school, was parked behind a fence on airport property.
