Actress Mila Kunis stirred up a bit of controversy Thursday evening on “Conan” when she revealed that she makes monthly donations to Planned Parenthood in Vice President Mike Pence’s name. In response, the pro-life advocacy group Susan B. Anthony List announced that they would accept donations to their cause in Pence’s name. Pence said Saturday he was “honored” by SBA List's gesture. On Thursday, Kunis told Conan O’Brien, “I apologize if I’m offending anybody. It’s not so much a prank as much as I disagreed with some of the stuff that Pence was doing and was trying to do.”
  • Wow: New NARAL Ad Compares Pro-life Group to a Molester

We've seen some shameful and misleading ads this election cycle, but has the pro-abortion organization NARAL crossed the line? In an ad buy that cost over five figures, the group's new video in North Carolina criticizes the pro-life group Susan B. Anthony List for endorsing Republican Thom Tillis and his anti-abortion agenda. That's the predictable part. What is shocking, however, is an image the NARAL ad uses at the end of the video for comparison: a man sexually molesting a woman.Watch the ad if you don't believe me:By including this disturbing picture in the ad, NARAL is shamefully trying to compare the...
  • Failed Democrat Pol Sues Critics Over Election Loss

There's nothing quite like a politician scorned. When voters in Ohio's 1st Congressional District threw Democrat Steve Driehaus out of office after only one term, he did not bow out gracefully. No, he decided to get even. So he did what anyone does in today's culture: he sued somebody. Charging that its activities contributed to his defeat and thus to his "loss of livelihood," Driehaus is suing the Susan B. Anthony List, a group that supports pro-life candidates for Congress and which has been one of the leading and most effective organizations involved in the fight to cut off federal...

In a case that could test the bounds of free speech, a former Democratic congressman has been allowed to proceed with his lawsuit against a prominent pro-life group that he claims contributed to his election defeat by spreading falsehoods about his record on abortion issues. A federal judge in Ohio ruled Monday that former Rep. Steve Driehaus' defamation suit against the Susan B. Anthony List can go forward. The former Ohio congressman claims the group "disseminated lies" about him, effectively costing him his job -- as well as inflicting "reputational" and "economic" harm. The complaint stems from statements and advertisements...
  • Defeated congressman sues pro-life PAC for ‘loss of livelihood’

What a sore loser. Even before he was kicked to the curb by Ohio voters, Rep. Steve Driehaus, D-Ohio, tried to silence the Alexandria-based Susan B. Anthony List for criticizing his vote for Obamacare after the Stupak amendment banning the use of federal funds for abortion was stripped out of the bill. Citing an Ohio statute that makes it a crime to knowingly tell malicious lies about a public official, the formerly pro-life congressman filed a criminal complaint against the PAC on Oct. 6, insisting that the health care bill he voted for would not fund abortion. “The four billboards...

    | The year 2010 may see the most tumultuous congressional elections since 1994. One of the key players will be Marjorie Dannenfelser, president and chairman of the board of the Susan B. Anthony List, a 501(c)(4) nonprofit, 280,000-member organization with an attached political action committee that helps pro-life women to run for political office. Q: How did you become pro-life? I grew up in North Carolina in an Episcopalian family, very strongly pro-choice. I was co-chair of the College Republicans at Duke University because they wanted balance: Balance meant you had to have a pro-choice and a pro-life chair. So...
  • In NY-23 There Are Four Who Deserve Tremendous Credit

Lots of people want credit for Dede Scozzafava dropping out today. I feel like I have had a view from the inside. Lots of people are trying to give me credit for rallying the base since last July for Hoffman, but from my vantage point, there are four that are being overshadowed by Pataki, Pawlenty, and Palin, but who genuinely and truly deserve a hell of a lot more credit than most. Please though, remember these four: 1. Susan B. Anthony List. First in and last out, they have been under the radar for months. Before the tea party activists....

Who's Lying to You About Early Feminism? Susan B. Anthony: Lucifer's Babe? December 1, 2003 by Art Lemasters Many people of scriptural faith have been duped into believing that Susan B. Anthony was a devout follower of the Word by feminist mentions that she was a Quaker, that Quakers were strict, and so forth. Those stories omit the truth. Anthony's family was with the liberal Hicksite Quakers, that is, until she stopped attending Quaker meetings. In liberal Quaker doctrine, scriptures are secondary to each person's "Inner Light." Some Quakers disagree with liberal thought against scripture, but Anthony could not have...

  • National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers???

A radical pro-abortion group called Refuse & Resist is organizing March 10th as a day to commemorate abortionists. Can you imagine that? Celebrating the most destructive practice exercised on the most innocent, unborn children! Of course, this abortion extremist group is supported by the likes of NOW (National Organization for Women), the ACLU and other pro-abortion groups. This is an outrage to the medical profession and a direct insult to those who have dedicated their lives to this noble practice. There is NO place for commemorating these individuals who, through the very act of abortion, defy the Hippocratic Oath...
