How Bernie Sanders, the Communist, becomes POTUS & SCOTUS goes far left! Trump wins Republican nomination by popular vote. Republican convention is brokered, the (R) elitist's pick Cruz, overriding the will of the majority. Cruz is sued over eligibility by Trump (among others), the 5th circuit court of appeals rules a born Canadian (even with U.S. citizenship) can not be POTUS. Trump goes Independent. SCOTUS, still a 4/4 split, doesn't hear the case (thus upholding the 5th circuit decision). Meanwhile, the FBI recommends indictment for Hillary (how could they not?) over email-gate. The Just Us department initially refuses to prosecute....

MSNBC's choice to host Donald Trump in an exclusive town hall on Wednesday did not result in a ratings win against competitors CNN or Fox News. During the 8pm hour, when MSNBC's Trump town hall was up against CNN's GOP town hall (which kicked off with Ben Carson), it was actually Fox News that had the highest total viewers, with 2.3 million, despite the fact that "The O'Reilly Factor" was helmed by a guest host, Eric Bolling. MSNBC's Trump town hall had 1.4 million total viewers, while the first hour of CNN's three-part town hall had 2.05 million viewers. CNN...

One America News Network, (OAN), commissioned Gravis Marketing, a nonpartisan research firm, to conduct a random survey of 1,366 registered, likely voters in Nevada. The poll was conducted from February 14th to the 15th and includes 687 Republican Caucus participants, 516 Democratic Caucus participants, and the remainder not planning on participating in a caucus, but are planning to vote in the regular elections. The poll has a margin of error of ± 3% [4% for Republican and Democratic caucuses]. The total may not round to 100% because of rounding. The polls were conducted using automated telephone calls (IVR technology) and...

Pope Francis, apparently desperate to reach out to the Catholic Church’s growing base in Latin America, spent the day slapping Americans in the face from across the US-Mexico border. In Ciudad Juarez, one of the most violent cities in the Western Hemisphere thanks to the drug cartels, the pope walked up a ramp covered in flowers toward a cross “erected… in memory of migrants who have perished trying to reach the United States just a stone’s throw away,†according to Reuters. Funny, he never did that while visiting Cuba to pay tribute to those who died attempting to escape that...

Since candidates first started throwing their hats in the ring for the Republican Presidential nomination, I have been cheering for Ted Cruz as my first choice. There were also a number of candidates whom I would gladly support against the Democratic challengers. I really liked the way Donald Trump was electrifying the electorate and he was near the top of my list. But that has changed. Trump is now at the bottom of my list. As I have watched Donald Trump's attacks on Ted Cruz in recent weeks, and especially those in the last few days leading up to the...

Donald Trump is running riot in the GOP china shop and gleefully tearing the place up. Consider the strength of Trump's position: If he wins South Carolina by a big margin, he goes into Nevada with momentum, and the latest poll there has him leading by 26 points and pushing 50 percent. If he enters Super Tuesday a week later having won three out of the past three states — and with Cruz diminished by a South Carolina loss and Rubio having won nowhere - he could easily win, say, 10 contests that day. It might still be possible to...

U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is "not Christian" because of his views on immigration, Pope Francis said on his way back to Rome from Mexico. "A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian," Francis said in answer to a specific question about Trump's views. "This is not in the gospel."

With open eyes and an open heart I joined the Catholic Church just a few years ago at the ripe old age of 43. I love my Church and I love Pope Francis and my trip to the Vatican last year was a highlight of my life. Being blessed by Francis in St. Peter’s Square is something I will never forget.

POPE ON TRUMP: ANYONE WHO WANTS BORDER WALLS ISN'T CHRISTIAN BY NICOLE WINFIELD ABOARD THE PAPAL PLANE (AP) -- Pope Francis said Thursday that Donald Trump is "not Christian" if he intends to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexican border. Trump immediately fired back, saying it is disgraceful for a religious leader to question a person's faith. Trump, a leading U.S. Republican presidential candidate, has promised to build a wall along the Mexican border from Texas to California and expel 11 million people who are in the country illegally if elected president. The Pope's comments en route home from Mexico...

....Forty-six percent of Republican primary voters say they have now made up their minds about whom to vote for, up from 35 percent last month. But Trump's supporters are surer about their choice: Two-thirds of Trump voters now say they have made up their minds. Among those supporting other candidates, the race is more fluid; two-thirds of them may still change their minds. Trump's support cuts across nearly every demographic group in the Republican electorate. He holds a double digit lead among Republicans and independents, men and women, white evangelicals, and Americans of all income levels. He leads among Republican...

U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is 'not Christian' because of his views on immigration, Pope Francis said on his way back to Rome from Mexico. The pope said, however, he did not want to advise American Catholics on whether or not to vote for Trump. In a freewheeling conversation with reporters on his flight back from a visit to Mexico, Francis was asked about Trump and some of his statements, such as vowing to build a wall between the United States and Mexico if he becomes president. Donald Trump remains at the top of the reduced six-man GOP field - but there has been some movement as candidates have dropped out. One of the beneficiaries in the latest Economist/YouGov Poll is Ohio Governor John Kasich, who has doubled his support among likely Republican primary voters from where it was before the New Hampshire primary. Kasich now has more support than former Florida Governor Jeb Bush and neurosurgeon Ben Carson. Carson was at or near the top in support in some earlier polls. But Kasich has a long way to go. The top three candidates remain the same....

If and when the Vatican is attacked by ISIS, which as everyone knows is ISIS's ultimate trophy, I can promise you that the Pope would have only wished and prayed that Donald Trump would have been President because this would not have happened. ISIS would have been eradicated unlike what is happening now with our all talk, no action politicians. The Mexican government and its leadership has made many disparaging remarks about me to the Pope, because they want to continue to rip off the United States, both on trade and at the border, and they understand I am totally...

For the first time, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has specifically promised he would sign a bill as president to de-fund Planned Parenthood. Trump has repeatedly indicated he opposes Planned Parenthood funding but has always stopped short of committing to sign legislation to stop the flow of taxpayer funds to the nation’s biggest abortion business. In a new interview with David Brody of CBN, Trump made that promise. Although his promise will go a long way towards reassuring pro-life voters he would implement specific pro-life policy on abortion as president, Trump continued to praise Planned Parenthood — following up on...

A lot has been written about how Donald Trump’s asset churning and bombastic attacks on partners and takeover targets in Atlantic City may have profited him personally, but ultimately led to the demise of his Atlantic City casino empire, costing small investors, contractors and suppliers millions of dollars and throwing thousands of employees out of work. But as our friend, and former Justice Department lawyer J. Christian Adams has documented, Atlantic City isn’t Trump’s only failed enterprise, nor is it the only example of how Donald Trump has made money by duping Donald Trumpand bullying the little guys he now...

ABOARD THE PAPAL AIRLINER -- Inserting himself into the Republican presidential race, Pope Francis on Wednesday suggested that Donald J. Trump "is not Christian" because of the harshness of his campaign promises to deport more immigrants and force Mexico to pay for a wall along the border. "A person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not Christian," Francis said when a reporter asked him about Mr. Trump on the papal airliner as he returned to Rome after his six-day visit to Mexico.

A commenter alerted me to a documentary on Donald Trump -- recently uploaded to YouTube -- that appears to have been produced in the late 1980s. Rumor has it that one of Mr. Trump's legendary lawsuits suppressed its distribution. It's very -- very -- interesting. The vid features NYC icons Jimmy Breslin and Ed Koch as well as some New York Times punks, along with a range of typical, workaday jamokes like you and me. It seems to get to the heart of who Donald Trump really is. There's stuff to admire -- and condemn. (video at link)

GOP front-runner Donald Trump refused to pick sides in the conflict between Israel and Palestine in last night’s town hall on MSNBC. “I don’t want to get into it,†he told moderators Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski. “If I win, I don’t want to be in a position where I’m saying to you [my choice] and the other side now says, ‘We don’t want Trump involved…let me be sort of a neutral guy,†said the billionaire businessman. Trump described the Middle Eastern struggle as the “toughest deal in the world right now to make.†“A lot of people say an...
