Obama campaign selling 'birther' T-shirts By Jordan Fabian - 05/18/11 11:53 AM ET President Obama isn't done trying to capitalize on claims that he was not born in the United States. Last month, Obama released his long-form birth certificate to prove he was born in Hawaii and lampooned billionaire businessman Donald Trump, who cast doubt on the authenticity of the president's birth certificate, at the White House Correspondents Dinner. His campaign is now selling T-shirts emblazoned with his face above the slogan "Made in U.S.A." On the back is an image of his birth certificate.

A federal appeals court has upheld a previous ruling that permitted a student at Neuqua Valley High School in Naperville to wear a T-shirt critical of homosexuality. After the school allowed students in 2006 to participate in an annual Day of Silence to promote tolerance of homosexuals, a student wore a T-shirt that stated, "Be Happy, Not Gay." School officials objected and first changed the words on the shirt to say, "Be Happy, Be Straight." Then they changed it to just, "Be Happy."

An illegal immigrant was wearing an "I'm hiding from the cops" shirt when he was arrested on child molestation charges, authorities said today William Velasquez Castillo, 27, was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Lucedale late Wednesday evening, Jackson County Sheriff Mike Byrd said. Investigators have been searching for Castillo since April 3 when a 10-year-old girl told investigators he molested her in a vehicle in Ocean Springs, Byrd said. The principal of Oak High School in Morgan Hill, California instructed kids who decided to wear their American flag T-shirts on Cinco De Mayo, were instructed to either turn their shirts inside out, take off their American flag bandanas, or be sent home. The ultimatum was delivered when students who were celebrating Cinco De Mayo found that the American flags were "offensive" to their celebration.

A Round Lake Park woman was held in contempt and jailed because a judge found a message on her T-shirt offensive.
