A UCLA student has received multiple death threats in response to her video “Asians in the Library,” which was posted Friday. In the video, third-year political science student Alexandra Wallace makes a number of disparaging comments about Asian students. “The problem is these hordes of Asian people that UCLA accepts into our school every single year,” Wallace said in the video. She described her annoyance at Asian students talking noisily in the library, and imitated one student with the phrase, “Ohhhh. The idea isn’t uncommon, simply strolling around the periphery of the university one notices about a dozen churches and chapels, all supporting various campus-affiliated religious groups. Isn't it fun to watch fat cats get fatter? On top of his $739,695 base salary, UCLA administrator David Feinberg -- who serves as both associate vice chancellor and CEO of the university's hospital system -- received a $218,728 "award" from the UC Regents this month for a job well done. That brings his yearly earnings to about $1 million. According to the San Francisco Chronicle, the regents approved Feinberg's bonus, along with roughly $3 million more in "incentive pay and raises" for top UC medical officials, on January 21.

Just hours prior to his death, Sarah Palin, extended her get well wishes to one of her personal heroes: former UCLA Basketball Coach John Wooden. Coach Wooden passed away last night at the age of 99.

With all due respect to Bob Knight, Mike Krzyzewski and even Bear Bryant and Vince Lombardi, John Wooden was in a class by himself. Wooden will go down as the most accomplished coach anywhere. Ever. The Wizard of Westwood won 10 national titles in a 12-year span, including a remarkable seven consecutive from 1967 through ’73. Wooden’s success is almost unfathomable. Wooden passed away on Friday night at the UCLA Medical Center, just months prior to his 100th birthday on Oct. 14. Wooden was still mentally sharp in his 90s and was spotted at UCLA games and other events.
