WASHINGTON (AP) — A team at the Smithsonian Institution has scanned President Barack Obama to create the first 3D printed portrait of a sitting president. Digital imaging specialists recently created a 3D printed bust and life mask of Obama, which will become part of his presidential depictions in the National Portrait Gallery collection. Both were shown Wednesday at a gathering of inventors, entrepreneurs and students at the White House.

For children growing up, there is little that cuts to the emotional core like a bully calling them “ugly.” It’s a crass attack that usually reveals more about the insecurities of the bully than the beauty of the child being bullied. Poor Chelsea. There aren't many untainted names left for her to name her baby. I think if it's a boy, she will be left with more options. For a girl, there are just so many names that dredge up bad memories. Monica is obviously out. Jennifer, no matter the spelling, simply wouldn't be appropriate.
