How is it possible that in 1949 there were about half a million Palestinian refugees and today (according to UNRWA’s distorted definition) there are about 5.6 million?? What other refugee group has a UN body whose purpose is to ensure that the refugees maintain their status? I was watching CNN's Inside Politics today (no transcript up yet) and they had a panel on - someone from the Washington Post, LA Times (Ron Brownstein) and Time magazine (Karen Tumulty).
