I thught Max Burns and Mac Collins had a chance to take away two Dem House seats in Georgia. Last I saw, Burns had fallen behind a bit but Collins was still ahead. Any FReepers in GA have up-to-date info? Just a quick response will be fine, many thanks.

This past week I flew to the Los Angeles area for business. My client purchased my airline tickets for me and made my hotel reservations. I told them I wanted a smoking room. They made reservations for me at a Hilton Garden Inn in Arcadia, and another at the Hilton on Century Blvd near LAX. When I checked into the place in Arcadia, they informed me that they were out of smoking rooms (which they knew I wanted), and that if I smoked in the room they gave me I would incur a $75 cleaning charge. Maybe they could switch...

Ive held off responding to the many many FR posts on the Terry Schiavo debacle...until now. I think FOXNEWS is pandering to the left more and more. It's no longer what it was when it originally started and they were advertising on Rush's show. I think that all they have left is Sean Hannity and the rest of them are just lib lap-dogs. I wish they would have just stuck with what was RIGHT. Kerry's most hawkish stance during the Democratic Convention was that he wouldn't hesitate to respond with force after terrorists attacked us. Both McCain and Giulliani have spoken passionately in favor of the Bush Doctrine and preemptive force generally. John Kerry's priority is mending alliances and Bush's is to stamp out global terrorism abroad so that we don't have to respond to attacks on the homeland.
