Nine years ago two of the four commercial aircraft took off from Boston, and the other two took off from Newark, and Washington. They took off fully loaded with men, women and children-all innocent, and all soon to die. These aircraft were targeted at the World Trade Towers in New York, the Pentagon, and likely the Capitol in Washington, D.C.. Three found their mark. No American alive old enough to remember will ever forget exactly where they were, exactly what they were doing, and exactly who they were with at the moment they watched the aircraft dive into the World...

DUMFRIES, Va. - Tony Vazquez says the years he spent serving as a military police officer at Fort Belvoir prepared him to own his own pizza business. Vazquez and his wife, Shelley, are expected to open their Little Caesars franchise at 16708 Jefferson Davis Highway, Suite 121 in Dumfries on Thursday. “It was the discipline and teamwork I learned in the Army that made a big difference in my life,” he said. “One of the most important things I learned is that when you make a commitment, you stick to it. You must believe in what you are doing.” Tony...

I am a member of a U.S. Military retiree group in the Philippines. We need to find a lawyer or law firm that can assess a possible class action lawsuit against a government contractor. I can't give details in the open for fear of the facts prematurely becoming known. If anyone can help direct us to a lawyer that will be willing to look at our case, we would be forever appreciative.

Taleban On Verge Of Collapse After Surge Success, Allies Insist Top-level figures say the battle has developed 'irreversible momentum', Anthony Loyd reports from Kandahar The best Taleban commanders are dead or captured. Their men are harried and subject to constant attack and betrayal. They are under-equipped, overwhelmed and demoralised. In a word, the Taleban are losing. In Britain and America there may be doubt and confusion over the future of the Afghan war, but in southern Afghanistan the description of the Taleban insurgency by senior figures at the forefront of the fighting is bold and unequivocal. The troop surge is...
