Still disloyal after all these years . . . Eight years after being a putative aide to Sarah Palin, Nicolle Wallace can’t stop trashing the woman she supposedly worked for. On today’s Morning Joe, Wallace suggested that if ignorance of foreign policy were an asset, “Sarah Palin would be Vice-President of the United States.” Wallace’s unworthy remark came in the context of a discussion of Libertarian president candidate Gary Johnson’s claim that his own ignorance of foreign policy was an asset since it makes him less likely to get involved in foreign wars. Fresh off of berating Kellyanne Conway for all but refusing to admit that her employer, Donald Trump, isn’t doing well with women ahead of the election, Megyn Kelly brought out fellow Fox News host Dana Perino to talk about Trump’s reported mistreatment of the former Miss Universe, Alicia Machado. Kelly and Perino discussed just how bad it is that the story has been dominating the press for 48 hours and Kelly reminded viewers that in August of 2015, she gave Trump the chance to prepare for future questions about his misogynistic statements.

NBC parent company Comcast donated $5.6 million to the Democratic Party during its convention in Philadelphia, and NBC provided Monday night’s presidential debate moderator. The Democratic Party released a comprehensive list of donors right before the momentous debate, according to The Intercept.
