DAVID PARKER, who recently moved to Lexington, was arrested at his son's elementary school for protesting a children's book showing a family with two moms or two dads (''Arrested father had point to make; disputed school's lesson on diversity," City & Region, April 29). Parker objects to this book and the teaching of diversity in the schools. He should consider sending his son to the Christian school in town, where children with strong religious convictions, who are opposed to certain issues, can be taught with more narrow guidelines similar to his belief system.
