• Communism and human nature (Bolshie Mod sez, Arise ye kittens of the earth!)

Many argue that communism will never be possible because of "human nature". The essence of this false argument is the belief that a communist society would consist of an all-powerful central government that would tell everybody what to do--and would therefore undermine the creative initiative of individuals and the search for happiness. • This argument is based on two false assumptions: (1) It assumes that a communist society will look like the former Soviet Union, or the current China, North Korea, etc (ie: corrupt police states with a feudal-style ruling class) (2) It assumes that people will only work in...
  • Why Want Bush Do Something about the cost of gas? (ZOT!!! He awaits orders from Juwish Modz.)

Gas costs so much. I cant afford it. Why want Bush do something? Don't say he can't. His daddy or his handlers could be on the phone in 2 minutes with the Rothchilds and by 1 week, oil prices would be under $20 and gas would be 1 dollar a gallon. You know it and I know it. Why want he? Do you know? Is there sombody we can call? Plaese advice.

  • The Debate: Jim Lehrer vs. President Bush OR John Kerry vs. John Kerry

The pundits are already prognosticating about last night’s presidential debates. Many say John Kerry “won,” but that’s not yet entirely clear. Am I the only person who noticed Kerry’s constant smirking, nodding, head-shaking, and general smugness while the President answered questions? Didn’t anyone else notice Jim Lehrer’s loaded questions directed at President Bush? Maybe Kerry scored a few points for debating, but he certainly didn’t win the November election early. A CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll of 615 registered voters who viewed the debate showed that Kerry “fared better” than Bush, but also revealed that those same voters still preferred President Bush...
  • Kerry Misleads on Medicare

On Monday, December 8, 2003, President Bush signed into law a Medicare prescription drug benefits package designed to help American seniors pay for their medications. This month, the Kerry campaign released a TV ad attacking President Bush’s Medicare record stating, “The very next day George Bush imposes the biggest Medicare premium increase in history while prescription drug costs still skyrocket.” There are several problems with this ad, namely that fact that 1) Kerry skipped the December 8 vote and 2) Kerry voted to support the increase in Medicare premiums that he now criticizes. The Kerry campaign offers no specifics on...

The Labor Department reported this morning that the U.S. unemployment rate dropped to 5.4% in August, down from 5.5% in July, and that our economy created 144,000 new jobs in August. July job creation was revised upward to 73,000 from the 32,000 initially reported. 78,000 new jobs were added in June. Looks like the July numbers were a blip and we’re getting back to the torrid pace of job creation of May (248,000), April (346,000), and March (353,000). After President Bush’s stirring speech last night and the good economic news, just how will Senator Franken-Kerry put a negative spin on...
  • Kerry, Kerry, Quite Contrary

Will John Kerry issue in an age of a “stronger America” as his campaign bumper stickers state? I have found quite the contrary, and have provided documentation. In the mid 1960’s he tried to avoid military service for 12 months so he could continue his studies in Paris, according to Britain’s Telegraph. [1] Then he served 4 ½ months in Vietnam. Though he claimed a Purple Heart for his first “injury,” his own diary for that day states, “we hadn't been shot at yet.” [2] According to the Military Order of the Purple Heart, you have to be wounded to...

Bob Dole Slams Kerry By Andrew L. Jaffee, August 23, 2004 Home Search Forum Terms Nothing has really changed for Democratic hopeful John Kerry, except that real war veterans, like Bob Dole, are questioning the “superficial wounds” and resulting “medals” he received during four (4) months service in Vietnam. Kerry is still flailing, trying to cover up a career punctuated by extreme left-wing politics and flip-flopping by talking to voters about his military service. He squandered his acceptance speech at the Democratic National Convention by trying to convince Americans that his tour of duty in Vietnam will make him a great commander...
  • Kerry Campaign: Michael Moore an 'Extremist'

Michael Moore may be the Democratic Party's favorite filmmaker, but the Kerry-Edwards campaign wants nothing to do with him during next week's Democratic Convention in Boston. Asked about some of the angry Bush-bashing rhetoric coming from Hollywood these days, Kerry campaign spokesman Chad Clanton told Westwood One radio host Ron Insana on Saturday: "I can't speak for every extremist out there. Michael Moore - these people aren't part of the Kerry campaign." But it turns out Clanton may have spoken too soon. Not only will Moore be descending on Boston during convention week to bask in the adulation of...

WASHINGTON -- Senator John F. Kerry has been steeling himself for Republican charges that he is a "Massachusetts liberal," but senior Bush strategists say they won't treat the presumptive Democratic nominee like another Michael S. Dukakis. Instead, they plan to paint him as Al Gore -- a waffling Washington insider too aloof to connect with average Americans.

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright (news - web sites), busy plugging her new autobiography, went to Paris to give the French a thumbs-up for trying to obstruct President Bush (news - web sites)'s efforts to depose Saddam Hussein (news - web sites). "It's difficult for me to be in France and criticize my government," said Albright - who then went on to prove that it really wasn't so hard at all. "But I'm doing so," she said, "because Bush and the people working for him have a foreign policy that is not good for America, not good for the...

In the last hundred years, only FDR and JFK have enjoyed the type of overwhelming support that George Bush has received since Sept. 11th. The majority of the American public seems not only to trust him, but to genuinely like him. That's a very rare thing for a politician, which is why it's unconscionable that Bush has largely squandered the American public's affection. Now I know many of you think I'm crazy right now. After all, look how popular GWB is. Doesn't it look like the Republican Party is going to hold Congress and perhaps even take back the Senate?...

In the days after Sept. 11, President Bush outlined a global war on terrorism that was striking in its moral clarity, summed up in his Sept. 20 speech to Congress when he said: "Every nation in every region now has a decision to make. Either you are with us, or you are with the terrorists." That either-or approach has given way to a murkier reality in the Middle East, where the administration's response to the chaos -- particularly regarding whether to consider Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat a terrorist -- has shown the limitations of doctrines drawn in the language of...
