WASHINGTON (May 11) -- The White House is keeping its distance from an entertainer's joke comparing commentator Rush Limbaugh to a terrorist. Presidential spokesman Robert Gibbs on Monday was asked for President Barack Obama's reaction to the joke by comic actress Wanda Sykes at Saturday's White House Correspondents' Association dinner. Obama took part in the event.

Oh, boy, Wanda Sykes is in trouble. That's what you get when you make fun of Rush Limbaugh. I don't know how funny that was, but it certainly had the virtue of being true. Today, on ABC's This Week program with George Stephanopoulos, the panel praised the president's performance at the White House Correspondence dinner on Saturday.
