The Cascade Mall shooting suspect, Arcan Cetin, may face an additional investigation related to his voting record and citizenship status. Federal sources confirm to KING 5 that Cetin was not a U.S. citizen, meaning legally he cannot vote. However, state records show Cetin registered to vote in 2014 and participated in three election cycles, including the May presidential primary. Cetin, who immigrated to the United States from Turkey as a child, is considered a permanent resident or green card holder. While a permanent resident can apply for U.S. citizenship after a certain period of time, sources tell KING his status...

A disturbing portrait began to emerge Sunday of Arcan Cetin, the man suspected of killing five people at a Washington state mall, but authorities appeared no closer to determining the motive for the crime. Cetin, 20, who came to the United States from Turkey as a child, was described by authorities as having called out women’s names as he allegedly killed them in a hail of bullets Friday night at the Cascade Mall in Burlington.

He had a history of violence and sexual abuse of women -- almost as if he grew up in a culture that revered violence and thought of non-Muslim women as "uncovered meat." He posted admiration for al-Baghdadi and Khamenei and a call for Muslims to repeat "SubhanAllah" multiple times. Maybe he wasn't a jihadi and there is some mitigating explanation for all of this. When authorities refuse to discuss it and appear to dismiss it out of hand, however, it only reinforces the impression that there is some deliberate effort to cover up jihad attacks -- an impression that authorities...

Rep. Michael McCaul (R-TX), chair of the House Committee on Homeland Security, told Fox News’ Mario Bartiromo on Sunday morning that “there’s a good chance” Friday’s mass shooting at mall in Washington “could be” Islamic terrorism. McCaul appeared on Sunday Morning Futures to discuss the latest developments in a week of violence, from last weekend’s bombings in New York and New Jersey, which were allegedly carried out by Muslim immigrant Ahmad Khan Rahami, to the shooting at the Cascade Mall in Burlington, Washington. On Saturday evening, police arrested Arcan Cetin, 20, a Muslim immigrant and permanent resident from Turkey, for...

The new, and perhaps last, museum on the Capitol Mall has just been dedicated. It is the National Museum of Native American History and it is built on the last available parcel of land on the Washington Mall. It is a beautiful building, very striking and it's outside landscaping includes plants important to Native Americans, including tobacco. One has to wonder how long the health nazis will allow those plants to survive. The museum contains a wide range of Native American cultural artifacts from tribes all across the Northern Hemisphere including West Indies based native people. The intent of the...
