If Secretary of State John Kerry was 'very angry' after Iran released footage of the 10 U.S. sailors who were captured last month, he's going to be outraged if the Islamic Republic publicizes even more images, which the country has promised are "100 times more embarrass[ing]." A day after receiving an award from Iran's supreme leader for detaining the American sailors, Sardar Fadavi, head of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Navy, addressed Iranian lawmakers about the incident, telling them his personnel had collected information from the sailors' laptops and cell phones that had not yet been released, in addition to more...

Nearly 20 per cent of Muslims living in France think there are too many Jews in the country, a survey by the French Judaism Foundation has discovered. In results that will likely cause further concern to France’s embattled Jewish community, investigators found that nearly one in five Muslims believe there are “too many Jews†living in the country, while the wider population also seems to be suspicious. The Jewish...

Prodded into discussing Israel’s conduct during the Gaza conflict, and interrupted for a second time by an angry attendee, Sanders told the man: "Shut up. You don’t have the microphone." The question that had preceded the eruption was from a woman who wanted to hear more from her senator about his position. He had recently abstained in a vote on Senate Resolution 498, which expressed support for Israel defending itself against "unprovoked rocket attacks" from Hamas. Sanders was one of the 21 members who didn't sign the unanimously passed resolution. While his eventual response didn't satisfy Israel's most ardent supporters...

After delivering his laugh line that Bernie Sanders would make "a good candidate for president -- of Sweden," Senator Marco Rubio declared during the last Republican presidential debate on January 28th that "We don't want to be Sweden, we want to be the United States of America." More than simply saying that we do not want to be Sweden, we need to learn from Sweden's tragic mistake of becoming an open border sanctuary country for refugees from some of the most dangerous areas of the world. According to the United Nations Refugee Agency, "between 2010 and 2014 Sweden received,...

Sen. Ted Cruz said he would reconsider opening all ground combat positions to women if elected the next commander in chief. Cruz promised to take another look at the administration's decision late last year to open all positions to women. The administration's move ignored a request from the Marine Corps to keep some frontline combat positions male-only after some studies showed women were more likely to be injured and perform worse. "The Marine Corps request [for exceptions] must be reconsidered," Cruz wrote in response to a Center for Military Readiness survey released Sunday. "As long as the requirements are fair...

Why he continues to exist despite Islam's continued slaugher of Christians. The phenomenon of the Islamo-Christian†deserves wider attention, and the word wider use. An “Islamo-Christian†is, in its strictest sense, a Christian Arab who identifies with and works to advance the Islamic agenda, out of fear or out of a belief that his “Arabness†requires loyalty to Islam. Islamization by the Arab Muslim conquerors of Mesopotamia, Syria, and North Africa was a vehicle for Arab imperialism. This imperialism, the most successful in human history, convinced those who accepted Islam to also forget their own pre-Islamic or non-Islamic pasts. It...

Where western aid really ends up. February 1, 2016 Joseph Puder Western humanitarian aid to the Palestinians is complicit in fueling terror attacks against Israel. Little has been done on the part of European governments to curb the PA incitement and terror attacks against Israelis, despite Israeli presentations in western capitals showing how European Union (EU) humanitarian aid to the Palestinians is being used to fund terror. The U.S. Congress pressured the Obama administration to cut economic aid to the Palestinians by $80 million (reducing it from $370 million to $290 million) in the fall of 2015, due...

Army Lt. Gen. Sean MacFarland, the US commander in charge of the coalition fighting Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraq and Syria, said Monday that carpet bombing the terrorists would be "inconsistent with our values." The remark is seen as being aimed at Republican presidential candidate Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX). In December, Cruz pledged to "utterly destroy ISIS," and vowed: "We will carpet-bomb them into oblivion." He even hinted at the use of nuclear weapons, saying: "I don't know if sand can glow in the dark, but we're going to find out." After being asked to explain why carpet bombing would...

A survivor hidden in a tree says he watched Boko Haram extremists firebomb huts and heard the screams of children burning to death, among 86 people officials say died in the latest attack by Nigeria's homegrown Islamic extremists. Scores of charred corpses and bodies with bullet wounds littered the streets from Saturday night's attack on Dalori village and two nearby camps housing 25,000 refugees, according to survivors and soldiers at the scene just 5 kilometers (3 miles) from Maiduguri, the birthplace of Boko Haram and the biggest city in Nigeria's northeast.

Lt. General Sean MacFarland told Pentagon reporters today in a video-conference from Baghdad that the U.S. is bound by the laws of armed conflict and “at the end of the day, you know, it doesn’t only matter whether or not you win, it matters how you win." “We’re the United States of America and we have a set of guiding principles,†MacFarland added. “And those affect the way we as professional soldiers, airmen, sailors and Marines conduct ourselves on the battlefield. So, indiscriminate bombing, where we don’t care if we’re killing innocents or combatants, is just inconsistent with our values.â€

Yarkoni said that the IDF has checked the complaints of residents of the region adjacent to Gaza who said they heard the sounds of digging underneath their homes, and he claimed that the sounds were not from terror tunnels. "I don't say that there aren't tunnels, the IDF needs to say that there aren't tunnels. The IDF needs to check everything. The IDF should come to every resident who hears noises...
