The most recent Miss Peru Universe photo-shoot took a very interesting turn of events. During the photo-shoot, as Miss Peru Universe, Valeria Piazza, was transitioning to another spot along the rocks on the banks of the Shilcayo River in Tarapoto, San Martín, she looked down and noticed a severed, rotting leg. Once she realized what she had seen she left terrified and the production crew temporarily suspended the shoot. Upon recognizing the gravity of their findings, the team contacted local authorities that requested the presence of a member of the public ministry. Following the standard procedures the leg was transferred...

Why Jill is running for President with the Green Party We are being battered by unemployment, inequality, poverty, injustice, endless war, impending climate catastrophe, and a broken, corrupt political system. There are solutions for all these problems, but they're being blocked by political parties that serve the corporate elite, not the people. We need a new way forward that puts people, planet and peace over profit.

‘His views are against ours’ Ted Cruz came to New York Wednesday talking about education, but he’s the one who got schooled. The lesson came from a group of Bronx high school students who told the Republican presidential candidate to stay away. Cruz was scheduled to speak at Bronx Lighthouse College Preparatory Academy until students wrote a letter to the principal asking her not to let Cruz come, prompting staffers to cancel the appearance. "We told her if he came here, we would schedule a walkout," said Destiny Domeneck, 16. "Most of us are immigrants or come from immigrant backgrounds....

Ultimately, the rule will ensure the move of low-income individuals into higher income neighborhoods at the direction of the federal government.
