"Nope, they live in our memories and our hearts. And make them that much warmer."

I lost my beloved cat Mindy 4 months ago. She was almost 21 years old. I used to say that she was my first-born. She was a cherished member of our family, and we were devastated when we had to make the decision to stop being selfish and end her pain.

I miss her so much. Only cat lovers understand how much. :(

I know it's hard for many to put down an animal because of their love for them as their pet. I have had to do it too many times. But remember that they are not suffering anymore, that's what I thought when we took Neko to the vet. She maybe didn't even have the ability to know she was because of her condition, but I didn't want her to die from starvation or choking or something like that.
