A German court has sentenced a man to a one year suspended sentence for trying to sell toilet paper with the word 'koran' on it to mosques. In an accompanying letter the 61 year old Manfred van H called the koran a 'terrorists cookbook'. The court found him guilty of insulting the islamic belief and of disturbing the public order.
Van H sent the toilet paper to fifteen mosques, tv stations, and magazines. With the profits Van H wanted to erect a monument to those that have died at the hands of islamic terror. Iran complained to the German ministry for foreign affairs about the initiative of Van H. The German public prosecutor said Van H was being provocative.
A man after my own heart.
I need some of that.
Lovely Irony here. At least, Iran didn't detonate a few bombs on the German trains to convince them to capitulate, as done in Spain. They just rolled over with a few dimplomatic words.
They have a penalty for violating the sanctity of toilet paper?
Who knew?
Right not to be insulted or offended
Coming to a court room near you.

To mosques! Better they convict him for being Stupid. This dude needs a better business plan.
At these prices, he just needed to sell one!!
Old joke.
Bah! Don't tease us like that.
He shoulda hired you for marketing.
Actually, the law is to restrain from insults against religions which could disturb the public peace. Unlike cartoons criticizing the double standard of Mohammed´s religion, sending toilet paper to a mosque with the prophet´s face is intended to provocate and to disturb the public peace.
The law wasn´t designed for the conflict Christians/Muslims, rather Nazis/Jews.
The murderes of that child (Parents) received only three years in German jail, or should I say hotel? ):
I guess, you get the time that is commensurate with the crime?
Here, they would probably have received 25 years to life.
When I saw "Humor" in the TOPICS list, I dismissed this as someone's idea of satire.
Now, I just found out this is a true story. As such, it probably belongs in the News/Activism forum.
The penalties are a joke. But watch out, this convicted man got one year suspended (!) = on probation. That´s also "nothing". He probably has to report to the police once a week and that´s it.
He's everywhere. Tourist-guy can't be far behind. :)
No, the prosecution was the joke.
I cannot see why the German government would become involved in any way over a man wishing to sell toilet paper with the likeness of a perverted pedophilic, murdering, raping, lying POS on it.
The man deserves an award, rather, for truth in advertising, if nothing else.
It was the KORAN printed on the toilet paper, not the nonPhrophet Muhammed (PPBUH)
Anyone know where I can get some?
Using the actual thing has got me a little raw, since the paper was not of first quality anyway.
Note to self: write nasty letter to CAIR, since it was them that sent me the copy of the K(rap)ORAN in the first place.
For Wiping the Sheite from where the Sunni don't shine.
