Surprised? I'm not. I wonder if the legitimate scientists are super-naive, or if they are just so busy on their own work that they haven't seen the brazen manipulation of science that's behind such ideas as global warming, climate change, and cap and trade? That's not to mention the eerie ends-justify-the-means, Malthusian worldviews of people like Science Czar James Holdren and oh-doesn't-he-love-animals-but-isn't-that-what-they-said-about-Hitler Cass Sunstein. Despite the perversion of science going on at places like East Anglia University and Penn State and many other places, I have no doubt that most scientists are still honest, and I suffice it to say that, for the scientific community, the shine is coming off the Obama apple...

Guess it all depends on what “science” is. To obama and his leftist ilk, “science” means “yet another political tool.” PERIOD.
