It's very clear that Gingrich, Perry, Ron Paul and Santorum are NOT really running for president. They are only in this to help Romney get the nomination. Huntsman is just in it to make Romney look more conservative and thus help get Romney the nomination.
That analysis is a common one, but trying to run the other-than-Romneys out of the race as quickly as possible plays into the Romney voters hands. If everybody now in the race just stays in the race throughout the entire state-by-state primary process and convention system, Romney winds up at the convention having garnered his 20-something percent of the vote. The other 80% of more-or-less conservative delegates and candidates are going to stand idly by while the liberal candidate with 20-something percent takes the nomination? I don’t think so.
No, what is clear is that Perry has no chance of winning and hasn’t for some time and that, by continuing to stay in, he is serving Mitt Romney’s interests more than his own.
You win.
Stupidest post yet.
I just realize you are being sarcastic. Or probably being sarcastic. If so, my bad.
