Hillary rally vs. Trump rally
NY TImes and twitter photos copied by Red State Watcher ^ | 6/19/2016

While the NY Times likes to portray images of Donald Trump's rally as if though nobody had showed up, his supporters took to Twitter today to show what things really look like:

Honestly, I don’t remember Romney getting huge crowds. I remember a story about his staff cordoning off half a stadium in Detroit to make it look more full. Maybe he did get huge crowds and I missed it.

But Hillary’s level of support has been comically low - not just crowds. I personally do not know a single Hillary supporter...and all my old lib classmates are all about Bernie. IIRC some of the primaries featured precincts with 100 plus percent voter paparticipation....

Is it really Hillary rally?

You only see her backside, is there another angle to this?

Oh my... When I see the Hillary photo, these are my first impressions:
Two green vacant camp chairs in front
HRC’s posterior
Flag propped up in a cement block on the AstroTurf trailer
Identical manufactured H signs

“NOT A HILLARY RALLY - Did a search on GETTY for that image by typing in the number. The photo came up with this brief description: UNITED STATES - August 16: Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., speaks to a small crowd as she campaigns for democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton at the Scott County Democrats Picnic in the Park in Eldridge, Iowa, on Sunday, August 16, 2015.”

Deception like this photo won’t help us at all.

Wow. The polls with Trump behind have got to be fixed.

It is up to us to fix them in November.

Obama pulled in 10-20,000+ crowds several times in 2008.

Obama has now become the official Democrat POTUS candidate...”

He may be the power behind the throne but the Dems will still need to run someone, if for nothing more than a figurehead. And therein lies the rub. Who has both the ability to go through a grueling Presidential campaign and the bona fides to convince people to vote for him or her, and upon winning the Presidency to willingly turn over power to Obama? That’s gotta be a real short list...>>> do you actually think that these democrats think. They and their dead will vote for a dead person. They will vote for a poster cutout standing at a podium. like a monty python puppet with mouth part moving and arms waving.

I agree with you that the faithful will do as they’re told. For years the phrase “yellow-dog Democrat” was rule of law in my state. But to win the election both sides have to court that 20% bloc of swing voters that determine the winner, and I don’t believe you’ll be able to do that with a poster cutout. It’ll take a real person, someone with the drive and ego necessary to actually become President to carry off this charade. And I don’t think that’s the sort of person that would give it all up and in effect play golf for 4 years...

Wait til the Conventions—that will tell all. If the Republicans can do a good job—toss raw meat to the crowds, get some great speakers, a great VP selection it may change a lot. The Democrats will have a hard time trying to appoint Hillary. She may drop out “for reasons of health” and put her weight behind a Biden/Warren Ticket. Trump should expect this sort of grandstanding by the Dems. He should have some real surprises ready as well—like maybe some members of his cabinet. Some of his new ideas for Health Care, Foreign Policy, Reforms, etc...

I remember Romney getting larger crowds than obama.

Romney had a rally in Apoka Florida that had like 25,000 people. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/politics/os-pictures-mitt-romney-rallies-in-apopka-20121006-photogallery.html
