Despite what you've heard — or rather, have not heard — from the White House, June is Pride Month.
To celebrate and show support for the LGBTQ community, Twitter has released a custom heart emoji, Instagram added some fierce AF stickers to its app, and Google even dedicated a Doodle to the honor the American artist and LGBTQ rights activist who crated the rainbow flag. President Trump, however, has done nothing.
We're already two days into June and have heard complete silence from the White House in regards to Pride. Needless to say, people have definitely noticed — and they're not happy about it.
Though the White House has released statements publicly declaring this month National Homeownership, Ocean, African-American Music Appreciation, and Great Outdoors month, the president has yet to acknowledge Pride Month.
You'd think a man who tweeted about the LGBTQ community that one time, promising to fight for their freedoms and beliefs during his campaign, would be attentive and eager to celebrate a month dedicated to just that. So far, though, nothing....

Yea, my grandmother used to talk about all the gay times she had growing up and stuff. And how so and so was really queer for doing something or another.
She’d be 126 this year. Glad she didn’t live to see all this crap.

Besides sharing my June birth month with the President, it used to really make me sick that Obama just couldn't wait to declare the month of my birth, "Gay Pride Month!"
I needed an item that only my area Nordstrom's carries and I was confronted by all of the muscular "guys" sporting their "gay" tee shirts the minute I stepped in the door!
Two of them in the cosmetics area, were "decorated" with lots of eyeliner, penciled in brows and shadow! Presumably because they wore their cosmetic company tunics instead of being able to sport their "gay" tee shirts with pride!
YUK - I'm not the least bit prejudiced against gays but I do wish they'd leave off that RuPaul crap in public!
Trump could have the WH lit up like a rainbow the whole month and the liberals would still hate him. So what’s the point besides the fact that that group doesn’t have any reason to be celebrated by anyone

I don’t want to celebrate or show support for the LGBTQ community... They are a bunch of sick puppies.
I would take pride in my gov’t if we locked these sick freaks up, awaiting arraignment for violating laws against sodomy.
I would take even greater pride if the penalties were consistent with God’s law (Leviticus 20:13) which Jesus did not abrogate.
