I go through a quart of Tonic water with QUININE every week. Even enjoying a cruise in last week of February failed to infect me LOL.

Quart a week is totally insignificant, as far as amount of quinine equivalent. A quart an hour 24 hours a day might be meaningful.

That's why the Brits enjoyed GNT drinks in India.
Lots of Gin and Tonic (quinine water) kept the soldiers "enjoying" the heat and malaria of India while mostly healthy, when it still held sway over the British Empire!
