Tucker Carlson: Americans Feel Undefended And Neglected, Expect A President To Respond To A Crisis
RCP video ^ | 6-26-2020 | Ian Schwartz

Tucker Carlson warned the anti-statue movement "cult" could do irreparable harm to President Trump's presidency and reelection campaign. On Thursday's broadcast of his FOX News show, Carlson challenged viewers to name a single leader in world history that stayed in power after failing to "quell a rebellion."

TUCKER CARLSON, FOX NEWS: President Trump may lose this election. Unless fundamental facts change soon, it will be tough for him to be reelected. Trump’s loss would mean, just a few months from now, Joe Biden becomes the president. The United States government would fall under the control of the radicals who control Joe Biden. They will remake the country. We know that virtually nobody watching this show wants to hear that. But it’s true. Key people around the president know it. They see the numbers. They’re worried.

At some point in the future, historians will marvel at the fact the president lost ground during a pandemic and then during mass riots. Both crises should have highlighted his strengths. ...

It’s Trump’s “Kobiyashi Maru”

Time to change the conditions of the test!

Tucker can’t face the truth of his personal situation — which is that he lives in a Marxist Democrat sh!thole but can easily pretend he doesn’t because he lives in a $2 million mansion.

He speaks with the bitterness of someone who is having his delusions exposed.

Tucker doesn’t know what it is like in fly over country. We are secure ooutside cities. I feel for the few conservatives in big cities, but this is the sacrifice that needs to be made. Leftists in cities need to suffer, and suffer greatly. Conservatives in those cities are collateral damage unless they can do something about it. This is a war for our nation’s future. It is kill or be killed, quite literally.

“Radicals” don’t control Joe Biden. Globalist elites do. They just want to secure more of the USA and the world in their grips. They only use the left. It’s all about their own ruling class.

I agree. While some people might be getting more fearful for their safety (and of course the media and their fake polls will try to amplify that), I believe more people are feeling less fearful now that the big protests are over, and the ideas of "no police force", autonomous regions, etc. are quickly losing steam. And people are getting really tired of the whole "every white person is a racist and should apologize and submit to their new overlord."

We're back to worrying about the COVID - remember the media and people can only think about one major issue at a time - and I don't think people are blaming Trump for that. I trust Trump knows what he's doing. He's always had a good knowledge of the pulse of the people (especially in the critical swing states) and the situation, and will act appropriately and when the time is right.

There are people out there who are at this time feeling that nothing has changed even WITH Trump and they will not vote at all!! If you really look at things right now we are EXACTLY we here we were when Trump was elected, racial unrest, economy screwed and I FIRMLY believe that these bastards found a way to get this virus into the states THEY thought opened to early!! I no longer put anything and I mean ANYTHING past them!! I am starting to feel that people are just tired of the unrest in the country I think people are starting to think that if Trump were gone it would all quiet down giving the DEM BRATS their way!!! I honestly sometimes don’t see why Trump would want to run again. He doesn’t need this crap in his life.

What is he even getting out of this? I don’t even think he’s helping the people that much at this point. There isn’t much he can do, and the media hates everything he says or tries.

With regard to the riots and violence, there are more people on the right that think like Tucker than many here would like to admit.

Thanks for your post and book suggestions. I feel sick for the America my children might inherent. If there was any kind of leadership I’d do absolutely anything to prevent this slide we’re in, but it doesn’t seem to be coming.

well the left’s idea of “doing something” is spout off sound bites and push through massive regulations and spending under the lie of something that’s going to “help”.

What can POTUS do outside of verbally express that he’s against riots and tearing down of state monuments? Do you want him to push to federally protect these state statues? I guess that’s an option but goes against what we believe.

Hell, the GOP are against him too. They want status queue so it can be business as usual no questions asked.

Yes, I’m hoping he is just letting them have enough rope to hang themselves and then a late September / October surprise. He goes in and cleans it all up, arrests right and left all of the scum. Our Independence Day!!!!

He’s already let the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs oppose him publicly on the issue of using the military in the case of some of the riots (on federal property, even).

Don't Milley and Trump agree that the military should only be used as a "last resort"?

Change my mind. Nothing gets better, the people keep getting riled up about small things in the scheme of things, tricked into hate and into dehumanizing groups. We learn that the presidency is nigh powerless unless the elites who own the media own it.

I for one have realized the local elections are far more important to my personal freedoms and we should focus on those.

These guys spout to make a living whether they’re on the left or the right or the middle.

Well put.

I realize that everyone thinks Tucker Carlson is just the Cat's meow right now, but all he does is pick stuff off the ground and start ranting about it... sometimes moronically.

Well said, and there is still a window of opportunity for DJT but he has to both want it and chuck Karl Rove and any other lingering Bushie out the door and become the 2016 version of Trump. We elected a man who ran under the Republican banner, not a true blue Republican. I like it that way.

These incidents are less of a rebellion and more of a case where our enemy is busy shooting themselves in the foot.

Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake.

I think President Trump intends for the American public to reclaim their country.

If We The People push back on lockdowns and other abuses now, he can support our efforts using the power of the presidency.

Some of the moves he’d like to make right now against enemies in our government would be used by our enemies to claim he is a dictator, and they’d point to the silent majority in the public just waiting, watching. They’d say the President is acting on his own.

For example, corrupt governors and congress critters like Nancy Pelosi, some corrupt military and others in our government are baiting the president to “take action” against protesters so they can demand the U.N. intervene against a “rogue” president.

I believe President Trump wants We The People to use our voice, our own protests, to push back on lockdowns and other abuses. This would put him in an excellent position to use his office to support our efforts, as otherwise it would look like the president is stripping the states of their self-governance protected in the Constitution.

We out number the corrupt governors but we act like we don’t. If there is an attempt to steal the election (there will be) there may be a period of unrest. We would be in MUCH better position as patriots if WE had already broken lockdown and other oppressive actions by rogue governors/mayors.

This has to be be done from the ground up. We can’t always rely on a President Trump to come along and save us. After he leaves office, there may not be another, and as a free country, we’ll fall again unless we learn to stand on our own. Better to learn how to take back our country on his watch, then rely on him to remain in office for the rest of our lives, dependent on his protection.
